Symptoms - June

How we feeling this month?

Re: Symptoms - June

  • I'm definitely feeling better, though I still have a bunch of gross symptoms. So far I've avoided vomiting and any real nausea, but I still have tons of aversions. I've also started gagging at the thought of certain foods, when I think too much about what I'm eating, and when I take my prenatal. Yay.

  • Lol I’ve been an on and off sneezing snot machine! Luckily I’m not sick with a cold or anything I feel fine. Must be that increased mucous production I read about 🤪
  • I'm also feeling the excess mucous. I've been waking in the middle of the night coughing and have to blow my nose all the time. More and more foods are overpowering. I roasted carrots with thyme the other day and all I could taste was the grassiness of the thyme. The good news is I'm starting to have more days with energy.
  • I get heartburn much more now, so my spice tolerance has gone down sooo much. I usually add hot sauce to things and I can’t bring myself to do it anymore! 😅

I’m not nauseous as often, but it still happens when I brush my teeth or when I’m trying to decide on my next meal (this? *gag* ok no, this? *no gag* ok cool I’ll eat that). Whenever I have that extra mucus in the back of my throat it’s way more likely to happen.
  • I am definitely feeling better - there's a greater number of things I can eat and I'm not bone tired like before though there are still days when the exhaustion suddenly hits or the nausea is worse again. But still don't have much of an appetite and still lots of things are unappetizing to me - I can just eat them now without feeling like I'm gonna puke. I'm starting to get round ligament pain - lots of stabby pains in my groin, esp left side (baby seems to really favor left side) and just general tightness and a constant "bloopy" feeling inside (sorry I don't know how else to describe it). Wake up feeling dehydrated and super dry every night. Don't feel as moody as before! Still feel very bloated and the amount of burping I do after consuming anything, including water, is unreal (this was my first pregnancy symptom and I guess it's destined to never go away). Occasional headaches. Still some foggy brain. So far this is way better than 1st trimester!
  • I am sooo incredibly itchy even after pouring oil all over my body… anyone else?? And any tips for better ways to moisturize?
  • Still feel very nauseous before and after eating.  Very tired and unmotivated.  Smells make me very nauseous. I am so excited for that to go away!

@nikkialice23 I’m more itchy this time around as well, I didn’t have it as bad with my first but one thing I did that helped was shaving my entire stomach. Idk why but I did that twice a week and it brought lots of relief! And no stretch marks!
  • I’m in week 16 and am starting to feel so full all the time yet still hungry.  Maybe my stomach is starting to compress a little?  I imagine this is what lap band surgery feels like!  Anyone else?

@ellief_0926 Yes! Totally! Unfortunately, I’m also one of those people who has a delayed sense of satiety naturally, so now, often by the time I realize I’m full, 20 minutes later I officially feel way toooo full. Then I’ll go seamlessly into feel nauseous because I need to eat again before I’m even done feeling too full. So tired of the high maintenance eating thing. I’m literally fed-up with eating!
  • @bustabucket  Haha ok glad I’m not the only one who is dealing with this!  I feel like I just got done with Thanksgiving after every meal!  I hope this doesn’t last the entire way through but I can’t imagine it gets any better from here on out!  😂
  • I call it M&M. Mucus and migraines 😫
  • My hips!! Oh my hips are achy. Stretching helps somewhat but my bump is starting to get in the way of the stretch that's really effective.
