Gender guesses

This is at 22 weeks and 4 days what's your guess?

Re: Gender guesses

  • What did your doctor or trained ultrasound tech say? I’d go with that.

You were w/ a trained ultrasound tech and/or doctor.  What did the trained professional tell you? They would be able to tell you if there was a penis or a vagina.
  • You two are the reason I stay off these forums! I'm pretty sure I was told the wrong gender I am waiting to hear from my doctors office as he is no in on Mondays and it was a suprise so I could question in the moment.
  • So, you don't believe that a trained ultrasound tech gave you the right answer.  YET, you want nonprofessional, internet strangers to tell you what they "think." You are waiting for a phone call back, then just see what the doctor says.  Honestly I'm suprised they have that on file as anatomy scan didn't keep track of the sex. In fact it was not even noted in my chartwork.

Then we tell you what we think and you get pissy.

I kept mine pretty nice, but here is what I originally was going to say, "congrats you are having a Tucan! That is what i see.!  I have no clue as to what I am even looking at.

Your doctor can't tell you gender, can only tell you the anatomy which is the sex of your kid.  Gender and sex are not the same."

What sex were you told? And what in this photo makes you believe it's the opposite of what the doctor or ultrasound tech told you. No one here is a trained tech is reading and interpreting ultrasound images. Even those that are trained techs who happen to use this forum pretty much can't tell you either because they don't know any of your history or what other possible views may have been seen live.

I don't even know what the heck we're looking at in this ultrasound photo.

  • The anatomy scan is not 100% correct at determining baby’s sex. You need either blood work or to wait for the baby to arrive.
Based on the pic you sent, I can’t even tell that’s a baby. My original reaction was “You’re having a dinosaur or alligator!”
  • I only asked what your doctor or the tech said. Get your panties out of your butt. Jeeze. I’m also not a trained ultrasound tech so surely you don’t actually want my guess. I see both parts… so. Good luck with that.
  • I've seen many ultrasounds and I see one leg bent and other leg stretched out with a hamburger bun in the middle so that looks like a girl! Looks like my girl ultrasound
