Wondering if any of you guys are on baby aspirin? My doctor told me to try it to help prevent another miscarriage, I have been but also kind of nervous of possible side effects
How far along are you? 4 weeks
All over the place. Happy/excited/hopeful one minute and scared the next.
hoping all our babies stick!
My first loss was a chemical in Aug '21. My second was a mmc at 9 weeks in Jan - I ended up having to get a d&c.
The ob who performed my d&c has ended up becoming my primary ob. Even though I haven't passed the "3 loss" threshold, he wants me to come in early (my first appointment is in 2 days) and every week or every other week to keep track of my pregnancy progress and to help relieve my stress. So I guess that first appointment will be a milestone. The next will hopefully be hearing a heartbeat in a few weeks.
I'm thrilled and terrified, though as the days have passed since getting my first dark positive, I really have become more thrilled. My husband is anxious as hell though 😅
I just want an uneventful pregnancy and a healthy baby. I hope we all get that - ttc loss has been the most life-changing and arduous struggle.
We were not planning any of these pregnancies and are happy with our 5 children, but it was still exciting to find out I was pregnant and hard when we lost them. The time before this, I was sick and pretty much knew it wasn't going to make it right away because the line was so faint. I think I'm more excited this time around, yet nervous because I don't know for sure if this one will stick (feeling optimistic though) and I'm in my 40s now which is a little different.
I'll feel pretty relieved once I get to 8 weeks. All my losses were before that.
