Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc.
BO at 9 weeks April 2019, CP May 2022

    Status: TWW

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? A lot of internal battle right now. I gained a lot of weight when I had DS, so I’m in my head telling myself the MC was because I’m overweight. I hate it.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Nope

    Questions? NATM

GTKY: What is something big or small that you are looking forward to this week? Hopefully starting to get offers on the house! It goes on the market tomorrow and we have 2 showings… it would certainly relieve some stress! Plus, my birthday is Saturday! 👏👏
  • Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc.

I’ve been TTC for a year now, this month is attempt #8. I’ve had two CPs and one MMC with a D&C at week 10. No identified infertility, just 40 and single.

Status: medicated IUI (clomid and menopur), CD8.

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Struggling with this all being so out of my control, and wanting to do every little wive’s tale or special way to pray to “make” this happen. Struggling spiritually with why this isn’t happening for me.

Also struggling with weight gain due to fertility meds for six months. Have plantar fasciitis now because of it, so that makes losing it even harder! Plus, a goal of losing weight when TTC is tricky!

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Menopur shots start tonight. I’ll drive 3.5 hours for an ultrasound Thursday, and stay in a hotel room until trigger/IUI, which is usually CD 12/13 for me. This process has gotten more complicated since I moved away from my RE, and there isn’t a doc down here who can do any of my monitoring for me.

    Questions? No.

GTKY: What is something big or small that you are looking forward to this week? Super moon/full moon tonight! In Atlanta will take advantage of being there and get a massage, hike and yoga with friends and eat good food. When I get back home my little sister will be visiting for Father’s Day.
  • Sorry I’ve been a little MIA. Not much updating until I had my confirmation US yesterday. Doctor finally got the report today and ordered my misoprostol.

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc.: going through my second MMC right now.

    Status: taking misoprostol tonight

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Ughhhhhh preparing for a hell of a night and morning. Praying this works like last time and I don’t need a d&c. I leave for out of the country Thursday of next week so honestly not sure I’d do it before then anyway. My doctor said I could wait it out as long as I want if need be.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? Ultrasound Monday to confirm everything passed.

    Questions? Nope!

GTKY: What is something big or small that you are looking forward to this week? This all being over.

  • @mambo5-2 @ejoseph16 thanks ladies. I’m on the mend now. One thing I have to be thankful for is how well my body responds to the meds. 🙏🏼 CD1 finally!

  • @ReadyForaB bittersweet, for sure. I’m one of the “lucky” ones whose body just does it on its own. Both of my MC I had spotting for a few days, then MC naturally. Bittersweet… thankful for the limbo to be over, but disappointed in the outcome. Take care of yourself!
  • @ReadyForaB "lucky" you. Lol. I had 2 weeks between identifying no HB until I was able to have a D&C. Bunch of spotting, and I guess my body was starting to do its thing by when I had the D&C... but for 2 weeks... nothing. My body didn't want to say goodbye.

@rockstarmomma152 were you able to test POC from your MMC?

    @ejoseph16 @rockstarmomma152 +1 on the weight gain.

@ejoseph16 good luck with the house sale! I hope it sells quiiiick! When is the final walk-through for your new place? Will you need to find temporary housing?

@mambo5-2 *hugs* as your angelversary approaches.

I've been absent for a while because I need to take some time away to integrate the stuff from my spiritual fertility retreat, and I'm also trying to reduce how much time I spend on my phone/computer for a better state of mind. Anyhoo...

Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis/conditions surrounding loss, etc. CP Sep 2021; MMC  & D&C May 2022; Infertility Dx is "unexplained". However, read below...

Status: Benched waiting for my cycle to return

How are things going? What is something that you are struggling with and/or what is going well? Alcohol / wine has featured prominently in my grieving and although I'm giving myself a pass, it was starting to get out of hand. I got black-out drunk with a neighbor and gave MH quite a scare when he couldn't find me. This was also the first time I met the neighbor (fellow Canadians) and I feel like I ruined any potential friendship with them (I mean.. she also drank a lot.)

I also took a break from all vitamins (just took my meds) and so this is the first week I'm back on them.

I'm started working with a new functional medicine doctor (she has a Fabulous Fertility over 35 program that I've enrolled in) so that means new habits, new vitamins, etc. etc. I'm excited to give it a chance since I'm obviously now mysteriously able to get pregnant (my new self-diagnosis is "unexplained fertility") however my egg quality has been a problem. So, my individual goal for this program is to improve egg/sperm quality, manage inflammation, increase microcirculation, liver detox, and hormonal balancing.

Any testing coming up/any recent results? I've decided to do the DUTCH test. Just need for my period to start / ovulate as it's done 5-7 days after O. Has anyone done it?

    Questions? Not really

GTKY: What is something big or small that you are looking forward to this week? Well, week's almost over, but my friend is coming for a visit Fri-Sat and I asked her to bring her bike so that we can take my dog to the beach in her bike trailer (new thing I bought that H thinks is a waste of money/space that I haven't yet used).

  • @acleverusername yea I had two weeks too. My doctor makes you wait two weeks and do another us before he will do any intervention. It’s a terrible two weeks, as you know. My body in both of my MMC showed absolutely zero signs of naturally miscarrying and I even experienced pregnancy symptoms up to the last day. For me, both times the sac kept growing but the baby did not. Unfortunately, because I’m still 34 (35 NEXT MONTH!!!!) insurance won’t cover any testing until three miscarriages. If this had happened a month later they would have after the second. Bullshit.

Also, I can totally relate on the alcohol thing. Around the end of 2020 I realized I was heading toward a problem and made some serious changes. The first step is acknowledging !

  • @ReadyForaB the waiting until 3 crushed my soul, I had to have 3 in a row the first time. When I went to RE this time she was like no, 5-6 miscarriages before you were 30 is too damn many. We still don't know why I miscarry so much.

  • @acleverusername we don’t have a date yet for when the house will be done, so I can’t really answer that. Our field manager is currently a little miffed at DH because he mentioned to him something the roofer did that wasn’t up to code, and our FM argued with him telling him it was fine. The inspector came a week later like they always do, and he called or FM on it. So, he’s kind of quiet with us right now… nothing can get done until the roofing is fixed, and he’s having trouble getting the roofer back apparently.
  • @ejoseph16 oh it's really good that you're able to get that looked at! We live in a new built (renting) and I've been meeting all the neighbors and they have SO many complaints about our builder, including not being able to do an inspection between framing walk-through and final, and only the buyers being allowed at the final walkthrough. And one neighbor - who is a building inspector - requested blueprints from the builder and they almost cancelled the escrow on them!!!
