7 week symptoms, any relief?

I’m about 7w1d and this is my first pregnancy, I’m 23. I’m breaking out like a teenager, I have a few large cystic acne bumps under my skin that are large and inflamed and painful to touch. I use a la roche posay hydrating cleanser and cerave moisturizer, sometimes ordinary alpha Arbutin serum and rose water but I notice the rose water can break me out so I stopped. Any suggestions? I wonder if it’s a girl stealing my beauty..

also veryyyy tired, I can’t do too much activity wise or my body will get sore and fatigued the next day. I might get a wind of energy for an hr or two to get things done around the house but I spend most of my time lethargic, fatigued or just plain exhausted.
I don’t want to spend my pregnancy laying around not getting anything done, feels like a waste of time:( Has anyone found anything to fight off the fatigue just to be productive during the day? I haven’t been drinking caffeine, but I’m open to drinking a normal amount. Also too tired to exercise right now. Feeling some hip pain and just overall soreness in legs and back. Let me know if anyone has gone through this?

  • Did you get your blood work done yet to see if you're anemic? I got a call from my doctor's office last week reviewing my blood work with me and they recommended I start taking iron supplements because my blood work showed I'm anemic. Some of the symptoms may include "fatigue, skin pallor, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, dizziness, or a fast heartbeat."

And, ugh, unfortunately acne is common because of hormonal changes in your body - I'm 33 and broke out early on. What's worked for me is facials, though I know not everyone can afford that, and a cleanser and toner that has a low level of salicylic acid once a day, which my doctor said was fine. I also really love the Peace Out Acne patches. Lastly, if all else fails, you should go to a dermatologist.

  • That makes a lot of sense, it probably is the iron. I did some pre pregnancy blood work and horomone levels, found out I was anemic so my dr Gave me different supplements to take. I haven’t been taking the iron as consistently as my prenatal because it makes me too sick to take. But I will make it work and just swallow the pills lol.

Thank you! I’ll try salicylic acid products. It will be good for my new extra oily skin I’ve been having.
