There are days when I love a strawberry banana smoothie (and other days when I can't stand the thought of it). I've also been enjoying cottage cheese, applesauce, and sour cream and onion chips. Just the healthiest diet going on over here...
I'm feeling you all on the food adversions. Normally I love aromatic foods, but right now I can't handle strong smells. Literally this past weekend I was out to dinner with my husband and almost threw up after one bite of food. The only thing I could stomach was the side salad with no dressing.
I'm trying to eat a variety of foods right now, just to see if I like it or if the baby is into it. I'm not sure if it helps them after their born but I figure it can't hurt. This week I tried roasted radishes and they were surprisingly very good. Been craving lots of pineapple and watermelon too.
Trail mix! It's been a lifesaver on days that I forget to put my lunch in the work fridge and then am too afraid to eat it because it got warm. The m&m's satisfy my sweet tooth and I know I'm getting some protein in!
@mirnbean2022@goodyblmp I love spicy and tomato-based foods as a rule. Gimme all the salsa. Wasn’t feeling them wks 6-8, but love them again. The only problem? Soooooo much heartburn. 😭
My ‘pregnancy’ thing so far has been a huge uptick in fruit consumption. Also so so so obsessed with eating salads doused in ‘Garlic Expressions’ dressing. The vinegar and garlic zing is the best right now.
nothinf spicy, can’t even stand the thought of it. Chips- salt and vineager and sour cream and cheddar. also lunch meat sandwiches and subs (greaaaaaat one)
Better question would be what am I not eating! Anyone else feeling like a bottomless pit? I’m 15.5 weeks and really hoping my appetite calms down soon or I may balloon 😅 been obsessed with meat, potatoes and carbs. I would gladly eat fries everyday… again not good lol
I am a sushi or sashimi lover. I am worrying that my favorite rolls and dishes are off-limits now that I have pregnant. Is it safe to eat sushi Most magazines recommend not eating Sushi when Pregnant. see this for reference https://iqmags.com/can-i-eat-sushi-when-pregnant
