What is my pregnant self eating? (June)

Re: What is my pregnant self eating? (June)

  • Between my nausea and my diabetes... cheese sticks. I'm mostly living on cheese sticks these days.  :s

So sorry to hear youre struggling. I hope you find relief soon.
  • There are days when I love a strawberry banana smoothie (and other days when I can't stand the thought of it). I've also been enjoying cottage cheese, applesauce, and sour cream and onion chips. Just the healthiest diet going on over here...
  • I'm feeling you all on the food adversions. Normally I love aromatic foods, but right now I can't handle strong smells. Literally this past weekend I was out to dinner with my husband and almost threw up after one bite of food. The only thing I could stomach was the side salad with no dressing.
  • I'm wanting anything tomatoes. Salsa, tomato soup, salad with tomatoes, pasta with tomato sauce, ketchup, anything tomato for some reason.
  • I'm trying to eat a variety of foods right now, just to see if I like it or if the baby is into it. I'm not sure if it helps them after their born but I figure it can't hurt. This week I tried roasted radishes and they were surprisingly very good. Been craving lots of pineapple and watermelon too.
  • Salt and vinegar potato chips and alllll the meat. It's bizarre because I didn't eat much meat prior to pregnancy- I've been hijacked!
  • lol baked potatoes - this weeks obsession.
  • Spicy foods! Basically anything that has a kick to it has been a winner!

Trail mix!  It's been a lifesaver on days that I forget to put my lunch in the work fridge and then am too afraid to eat it because it got warm. The m&m's satisfy my sweet tooth and I know I'm getting some protein in!

Chick-fil-a Cobb salad. So amazing and I feel slightly healthy after… even with the large fry😂
  • @mirnbean2022 @goodyblmp I love spicy and tomato-based foods as a rule. Gimme all the salsa. Wasn’t feeling them wks 6-8, but love them again. The only problem? Soooooo much heartburn. 😭

My ‘pregnancy’ thing so far has been a huge uptick in fruit consumption. Also so so so obsessed with eating salads doused in ‘Garlic Expressions’ dressing. The vinegar and garlic zing is the best right now.
  • Pickles. Give me all the Pickles (total cliché over here)
  • @aclark117 sammmme!!

nothinf spicy, can’t even stand the thought of it. Chips- salt and vineager and sour cream and cheddar. also lunch meat sandwiches and subs (greaaaaaat one)
  • Better question would be what am I not eating! Anyone else feeling like a bottomless pit? I’m 15.5 weeks and really hoping my appetite calms down soon or I may balloon 😅 been obsessed with meat, potatoes and carbs. I would gladly eat fries everyday… again not good lol
  • Pretty much anything salty or sour candies.
  • Spicy food all day all night

I am a sushi or sashimi lover. I am worrying that my favorite rolls and dishes are off-limits now that I have pregnant. Is it safe to eat sushi Most magazines recommend not eating Sushi when Pregnant. see this for reference https://iqmags.com/can-i-eat-sushi-when-pregnant
