I'm gonna say it... kids don't (always) tell the truth.
The number of times I have had a parent tell me that their kid "said" such and such happened even though I was actually there is more than I can count. I don't think kids do it on purpose all of the time it is just that they don't have a lot of perspective on different situations. For the most part though I do listen to all sides, but I have encountered some situations where a kid has just fabricated something to put the teacher's attention on something else.
Re: UO Thursday 5/19
I put out some grow bags for potatoes, out of the way, and I'm pretty sure my upstairs neighbor is going to complain about them.

I don't think anyone should complain about gardening, period.
We have a nice planter box that my hubby built for me last year that I grow a lot of stuff in and we've gotten nothing but compliments on so he's going to build a box to go around the bags so that they're more "aesthetic".

this reminds me of when I lived in an apartment years ago and the neighbors asked if they could use my flowerbed and backyard. I said yes because I worked all the time and never used them myself. Looked out back weeks later and saw a bunch of corn and they grow tomatoes in my flower bed. I still laugh when I think about it 😂 totally thought they meant flowers. I got free veggies tho

I am just dying laughing. Like, we live in an apartment complex on a main road. Our patios are very visible from the road. We're also smooshed in between two not so great areas. If we were growing pot why in the WORLD would we ever grow it OUTSIDE!?
