TW: I’m out

Had my first u/s today and there was no heartbeat. The baby measuring 8+5, I am 9+3, so it happened very recently.

I am ok. I was not surprised. The first sign that something was wrong was a migraine right at 8w. I only ever get migraines right before my period so I suspected a drop in HCG may have triggered it. I’ve had three other migraines since then. Then this weekend I began very light brown spotting, only when I wipe. And over the last 2-3 days, my nausea (which was horrible) has almost entirely disappeared. But that’s it, I’ve had no cramping at all.

I wish all of you peaceful pregnancies and healthy babies! Not sure if we will try again (we’re old) but maybe I’ll see y’all around if we do!
