Help! My OPK is reading 4 peak fertility days in a row!

I’ve been using the Clearblue Advanced Digital ovulation tests for probably 8 months now. A month and a half ago I got a positive pregnancy test and ended up miscarrying around 4.5 weeks (April 25). On Friday I decided to take a OPK test and I got peak fertility and out of curiosity I tested again the next day which was the same result. So I’ve continued to test and have kept getting peak fertility readings. Does anyone know why or how this could be!? I’ve only ever gotten a few high and then one peak result in the past.

@maddison_hendricks hi and welcome to TTGP! One thing we do differently in this community is discourage one-off posts. Instead we group posts by daily, weekly, monthly and even long-living topics. @maddison_hendricks I'm sorry for your loss. A few things to add, besides what @acleverusername said. You may want to look at the TTCAL threads here, and also the TTCAL board. For your personal situation, you need to consider whether you tracked your HCG down to 0. They should have done blood tests or something to ensure you no longer had hcg in your system, before you were green-lit to TTC again. If you still have/had hcg in your system (which can take weeks/months to go to 0), you may be getting positive OPKs because of it; hence false readings. This is also why it is recommend to not attempt PG again until after your first AF after MC. OPKs also usually specifically say to start using on X day of a cycle and continue through until Y day. Starting a month after the start of a cycle, is not how they standardly work.

Additionally, the only normal after a MC is that there is no normal. Your body can easily take 6 or more cycles to even out to a 'new' normal. Symptoms you never had before may appear one cycle, two cycles, or EVERY cycle now. Symptoms you always had and could rely on to know AF was approaching may no longer be present ever again. I recommend reading Taking Charge of Your Fertility and doing BBT. Because it is one of the only ways to know what YOUR body may or may not be doing post-MC. Trust me on this.
