Upcoming Appointments or Results: I have bloodwork and a phone appointment next week. The same day I'm supposed to pick up my dentures. I hope they're ready early or my appointment doesn't run late 😅
How are you feeling?: I'm so worn out. I know my hubby tries to let me rest, but a lot of times it just doesn't help. Being pregnant with 2 toddlers running around is pretty exhausting. I also keep getting random bouts of nausea. I'll just be sitting here and all of the sudden feel like I'm on the verge of puking. I'm pretty good at breathing through it, but it's still annoying when it comes up that fast.
Rants/Raves: lol, my puking comment kind of turned into a rant. Rave - we're going to get ice cream tomorrow and I am way too excited about it lol

@jayc21 I go back and forth between having a little blump and having nothing lol. I didn't really show until 32 weeks for my son and 24 or 26 weeks with my daughter so not expecting much for a while yet

@jayc21 I'm definitely showing! I've told two separate neighbors that I'm pregnant and the first words out of their mouths were "I know." I'm also pretty small so I think that contributes to it being really obvious?
@jayc21 I am definitely showing. STM, and the IVF hormones caused some weight gain.
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: EDD 11/10
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM; son will be 5 in July
Upcoming Appointments or Results: General check-up on Thursday
How are you feeling?: Right now? Awful. I am so nauseous.
Rants/Raves: Last week was a decent week, nausea wise! Now this week it is back with a vengeance and I have two after work events (and it is the worst in the evenings). I'm so frustrated. I just want this to be over. Last night I felt so sick I started crying while out to dinner with my husband and son and had to go outside to take a walk.
How are you feeling?: starting to feel better and able to eat more normal food - still struggling to find stuff that sounds good. I’m definitely starting to show this week.
Rants/Raves: crossing everything In hopes that the constant nausea is going away. I can deal with the occasional bouts. @PurplePumpernickel that was me last week. We were getting ready to go out to eat and I threw up before we left and had a complete melt down. I’m holding my breath that this week is just a fluke with feeling more human.
I got my qnatal blood work back and everything was in normal range and they didn’t put gender. I was super worried there would be a lab error and it would be in there. We’re trying g really hard to not find out this time since it’s our last.
Upcoming Appointments or Results: Next appointment is on the 26th and I can’t remember what he said we were doing at this appointment. So just gonna figure it out when I get there.
How are you feeling?: feeling good. Round ligament pain has not been fun. Sometimes I just sit back down and wait. Food is great. Smells not so much. We were processing a deer last night and barely made it through. Raw meat or the smell of meat in general is just gross these days.
Rants/Raves: rants we (DH) still doesn’t want to open the gender envelope.
Raves everyday I wake up or go to sleep still pregnant is a huge blessing.
How are you feeling?: Stopped taking Zofran & feeling a little queasy here & there, but mostly feeling good! Aside from the sporadic headaches & sciatic pain, I’m liking 2nd trimester far more than the 1st.
Rants/Raves: Finally pooped for the first time in 5 days! Genetic testing & sex of the baby came back. It’s a boy & everything looks good so far.
Questions: How many of your are sharing the sex of your baby? We’re afraid if we share people will buy a bunch of gendered clothing rather than the essentials on our registry.
@little_umlaut , in my experience, people are bad about going off registry and getting 'cute' stuff no matter what. If you tell them the sex, at least it will be cute clothes, which are easy to return and not some cute Etsy decor/blanket/tent that is much more of a hassle to trade for stuff you need.
Upcoming Appointments or Results: My next appointment is the first week of June. Due to all my complications last time, I get to do an early 24 hour urine collection to check for protein and early glucose tolerance test. Not looking forward to either of those but it will be nice to know what’s going on either way.
How are you feeling?: Exhausted. Sleepy. Very tired. Did I mention I’m feeling like a slug?! My nausea has improved thankfully because I’ve been splitting 100mg B6 tablets into quarters and they kind of just crumble and I’m glad to be done with that process for the time being lol.
Rants: Why isn’t 25mg B6 readily available everywhere?!
Also, I know they’re trying to be helpful but if one more parent with 2+ kids tells me to sleep now I’m going to scream! My husband does the same thing when he’s talking to soon to be first time parents so I know it’s coming from a good place but I’ve always been a terrible sleeper so that type of advice just makes me feel out of sorts, plus add in hormones and it’s game over!
School germs… my son started preschool and we’re now on the 3rd consecutive cold back-to-back-to-back. My husband and I both caught the 2nd cold and I’m just over it. The trade off of learning and socializing is more than worth it but I’ve had enough of runny noses for a long time!
Raves: My bump is starting to show and I’ve felt stronger flutters both of which are my favorite parts of pregnancy. I’m what I affectionately call fluffy and I’ve never been more confident in my own skin than I was towards the end of my first pregnancy. Despite many complications, the one thing I missed the most was feeling my older son move around so I’m really looking forward to stronger and stronger movements!
Questions: Does anyone have any favorite boy names that they don’t mind sharing? I’m pregnant with my second boy and delighted about it, EXCEPT a for having to name another boy lol. I’ve always had very clear favorite girls names but never any boys names. I’ve scoured the Internet for ideas and we have a few short listed but I’d love any ideas you have!
