Baby Diarrhea

Hello my 2 month old has had diarrhea for 8 days now I took him to the ER and his Dr and the ER said he was fine and so I took him to his Dr and she said he probably caught something like an infection but he eats fine and has no fever or anything. I was breast feeding and formula feeding but ever since he started getting diarrhea I started giving him only formula thinking it was my breast milk. He poops every time right after he eats. His poop is yellow and pasty. Any mom advices on what might be going on or if you’ve had the same problem?

    That sounds like normal poop. I used to be really anxious about diarrhea, but my brother is a baby doctor and my pediatrician both said the same thing that unless a poop is black red or gray it’s really not concerning. 

    If anything I certainly wouldn’t stop giving him breastmilk, you’re passing anti bodies to him when you do that so that’s actually the best thing to help prevent infection
