Fetal Doppler

Has anyone bought or is planning to buy a fetal doppler? I really want one for peace of mind but worry that I would want to use it every day 😂

Re: Fetal Doppler

  • Hey yes I’ve thought about it after reading up on it ,
I did find some apps that works on the iPhone as well .
Very much like you, I too think I’ll use it every day.

  • Hi yes I bought one! This is my first time pregnancy and this whole ordeal has been a little scary for my partner and I. Also with the delay in seeing an OB we figured it would give us peace of mind to be able to check whenever we want. I bought the baby doppler off the baby doppler site ($50) and I was able to hear my baby's heartbeat at 7 weeks even though it says you can't until like 11-12 weeks. The readings are not the best yet so we really only do it to listen to it ourselves without worrying about the heart rate. Honestly it's really reassuring to have if I've had really bad cramps or whatever that worry me.  We like to check every other day and honestly it's such a quick thing I personally don't see it as a big deal. I personally recommend it, I love the peace of mind it brings us😌

Love this! I know I agree that sometimes I get some bad cramping so it would be nice to check in on those days! Honestly even if I do use it often part of me is like…who cares as long as it makes me comfortable 🤷🏻‍♀️
  • Right! It's honestly so relieving and nice to hear it outside of a doctors office where you can oo and ahh with your partner however you choose😅 Girl I don't even care anymore, sometimes I use it days in a row and I tell my partner you can listen if you want but I'm doing it anyways!😝 But just keep in mind the heart rate feature isn't accurate early on, it's supposed to be good around 12 weeks I think
  • I have a Doppler and heard the hr at 11 weeks
