Does anyone here play the lottery regularly?

PA just started letting you play draw games online which is SO convenient. Wondering how much is too much per week to spend? $10? $20?

I watch way too much lottery dream house on HGTV haha!

@ReadyForaB in my state, the lottery funds a lot of wildlife/conservation/open space programs so $10 a week to a cause like that doesn't sound bad!

I feel like a total weirdo but if I won the lottery I'd probably keep my day job. Although probably go down to like 20hrs/wk 👍. That sounds nice.

@jennifer_louise I totally agree! I couldn't just quit all together. I would need something to do at least a few days a week. Now, I guess what that would be would depend on how much I won haha.

@jennifer_louise I would also keep my job but cut back on hours! I really love my job (I work in L&D)…but what a freeing feeling to only be there for the love of it. I currently work 36 hours (3 12-hour shifts, which is considered full time). But I would probably only work 2 8-hour shifts.

Someone in my area just won $1 million from the gas station by my house… wish it was us! I’d keep my job too but definitely cut down on hours! @daffodil_shoe I’m a critical care RN, so I would love a couple 8 hr shifts too!
Guess it’s time for us to play a little lottery luck. I think $10/wk isn’t bad, especially since they often find something good for the community. I think FL lotto benefits schools (?)

Okay ladies. What bug spray are we using? I already got two mosquito bites in my backyard last night. Ugh!!!!!!

@ReadyForaB as long as you’re not sniffing the butane in it I would think it’s safe. We have the tiki torch ones and my husband is in charge of them so I don’t even touch them. Anecdotally we used them with my last kiddo without issue

@bonniekins I used to watch it but I fell behind! I've been in love with Milo V since Gilmore Girls....

It turns out the stomach bug DS got WAS contagious. DD and I got it too - Thursday night was a freaking nightmare!
TMI disgustingness in spoiler:

I don't think I got any sleep between her puking and and me puking. I would run to the bathroom and literally not know what end it was going to come from 🤢. The only good thing about these bugs is how fast they go. I woke up this morning feeling more or less normal (and hungry lol)

@bonniekins I do!!!! I cried last episode too. I heard the next one is going to be the most emotional. I’m so sad it’s ending.

@jennifer_louise oh my gosh it came through our house a few weeks ago. I don’t think I’ve ever been that sick as an adult. Only me and DS got it though. DH was sparred. Glad you’re feeling a little better!
