Travel After Baby

Hi all! My husband turns 30 in October and we are due in July. For years we have talked about going to Las Vegas for his 30th birthday. Learning we were pregnant put those plans on hold- That is until my mother offered to watch our baby (who would be 3 months old at that time) while we go out of town to Las Vegas for an extended weekend. My husband is ecstatic the plans are back on, but I am already feeling guilty and upset leaving our son here while we go on a trip for a weekend. Has anyone had a similar experience? Does this make me a bad mom for wanting to leave my 3 month old for a weekend?? Help!

If you trust your mom and know that she'll take care of baby in a manner you'd appreciate nothing wrong with it.

It might be tricky if you are breastfeeding. If it is in the budget, maybe you invite her to come with you so you can still have a night out without being too far away.
