My first appointment is 5/31 at 2:40 in the afternoon. I work 8-4. If I didn't take it, it was another week out. I already came in super late the other day bc my family doctor made me come into the office before he would order blood work. I guess I should just come clean to my boss, huh? I wish I was able to plan around my lunches or just early before he gets here. Ughhhhh this is so stressful. WTF.

@ReadyForaB if your boss is the discreet type, maybe you could just tell him. Or Do you think he might believe the "doctors appointment" excuse?

My WTF today is to daycare bugs. DS brought covid home three weeks ago. He was literally back a week, and now has a stomach bug. He was up 5 times last night puking 🤢. Just hoping it's not contagious and will be short-lived!

@jennifer_louise oh no!!! The stomach bug ripped through my house a few weeks ago. It was TERRIBLE!!!!!

Also, he is definitely the discreet type.
TW - Loss

I told him super early last year and ended up having a MMC. It was really nice to be able to be honest with him when it happened and take the time I needed. He also confided in me about his daughter having multiple losses and was extremely understanding. I will probably just tell him in the next week or so so that I don't have to feel like I am sneaking around.

Oh I have a winner today!

One of my problem students showed up today after being on vacation for a few days, and he was wearing a new shirt. It said “I ❤️ Hot moms”

@jennifer_louise ughhh same boat my DS brought home covid at the beginning of April and now we have a had a head cold for the past week and a half. I was honestly shocked my body allowed me to also get pregnant through all these illnesses! Poor 3rd born in Jan won’t stand a chance against their sibling’s preschool and kindergarten bugs!

Well the good news is that I think what DS had was not a bug - I think he must have just eaten something that he needed to get out of his system. But we'll see today I suppose.

@ejoseph16 how old are your students again? 🤣

@bauerpower1990 I know!! It's gonna be rough there for a while. The good news is, my DD seems to have a great immune system now (she's 5) and I'm hoping that's at least partially bc of all the daycare/preschool bugs!

@jennifer_louise yeah I teach 3rd grade. So 8-9 year olds. And he knew what it meant! That’s the sad part! 😂😂😂 he was proud of his shirt!

@jennifer_louise his mom bought it for him. Like seriously?! I would NEVER want William wearing that, no matter how old he is!
