LMP Confusion

So LMP (at least in UK) is dated as the first day of your last period which for me was 15th Feb but I didn't come off contraception till 1st march. I'm not clear, is your LMP just a tool until they see your scan and can date you better?!

Hi @beanspud1990, yes, it's more common to use the date of your LMP over the ovulation date

With your menstrual cycle, you can think of it basically like your uterus becomes two weeks pregnant every month in expectation of a fertilized egg.
