Fit Friday 5/6

How's movement going this week?

Personally, as ms has eased I am feeling so much better than previous pregnancies.i am still loving hiit workouts from YouTube.   Anyone else do virtual workouts?

  • I finally felt well enough to get in a 30 min. walk yesterday. Going to try and keep it up each day. Since I have herniated discs in my lower back I have to be careful about the type of exercise I do. Running is out of the question and the elliptical makes my toes (and eventually feet) go numb, lol

  • I've been mostly able to continue my morning dog walks. I'm still somehow second place on my departmental team for the college-wide step competition (and first place is a marathoner).

    I don't do strictly virtual workouts, but I've found a bunch of routines on Pinterest/Instagram that I screenshot and save so I can do them with my own music or podcasts.
  • @PurplePumpernickel. Good job on the step-up challenge! For youtube workouts I totally just mute the instructors and listen to my favorite podcasts. 
  • Got in my 30 min walk again but when I went to the bathroom after had some bleeding when I wiped. Hoping it’s just a fluke and not related to the exercise. I really want to stay active with my walks this time around. Appt. on Friday so I’ll discuss it with my midwife then.
