I know it's still super early in our pregnancies, I'm just curious what everyone's plans are regarding finding out the sex of the baby. I've been lurking in the Nov 22 board and some of them are already using SneakPeek!

Re: Will you be finding out?
If waiting is too hard we probably won't do it with the third baby.
I left it as a suprise at birth with my first and that was a fun experience. With my second, my first husband still wanted to be surprised but I wanted to know so I found out and then kept the secret the rest of the pregnancy... that was hard. This time with my husband and I both want to know and I'm super excited to experience it this way.

I just looked up how sneakpeak works. Cool stuff about how fetal dna circulates in mom's blood and they look for a y chromosome to see if it's a boy...and no y detected means girl. It says it has good results.. 99.9%. But I found a paper that shows that fetal dna can remain in mom's plasma for decades after delivery and I've had a boy in the past. Probably a smaller amount than a current fetus? I'll probably just wait until the anatomy scan.
