How are you feeling?: Fairly normal, I think I’m peeing more.

GTKY: I’m trapped in Brooklyn. Wouldn’t love living there, but I could get by. Especially if I get to hang out in the NYPD’s 99th precinct! Totally have a crush on Andy Samberg’s character, Jake.

How am I feeling? Like I want to stop crying and peeing😂. Seriously, I can’t be losing hydration like this, a girl can only drink so much water.
Rants/Raves: It’s great that pets have a sixth sense about pregnancy, but my cat can stop sleeping on my chest anytime now. And my dog can also stop taking my foot space😂. They usually sleep on the couch together but they’ve been glued to me for the past week. It’s great, I love it, but not when I’m sleeping😂.
EDD / Weeks + Days: 1/6/23; 4w3/4days (one app says 4w4d this one says 4w3d so not sure which one is actually correct!)

How are you feeling?: Ok. Nausea comes and goes, but just waiting for it to feel real after 2 losses but absolutely exhausted.
Rants/Raves: celebrate your husbands/partners! My husband made dinner last night because I was so tired from being out all day.

How are you feeling?: Nervous since I lost the first pregnancy. Otherwise, tired, more frequent potty trips, sore boobs, slight cramping (which scares me the most)
Rants/Raves: None
Questions: I wish there was a way to know for sure that things are going well. As far as I know, HCG blood tests at the doctor's would be the only way to ensure counts are going up.

How are you feeling?: Still recovering from a cold and I tweaked my neck a couple days ago - don’t think either is related to pregnancy directly but the fatigue is real so I’m feeling like I’m on the struggle bus express LOL.
Rants/Raves: So far we’ve only told my mom and it’s been so nice to be able to talk about it since it’s all I can think about!
Questions: We’re interested in going with a midwife but I’m doing first appointment with my regular gynecologist. Wondering if that’s a normal route when you’re new to the process?

How are you feeling?: Nervous, nauseous, bloated, and gassy 🤦♀️
Rants/Raves: My doctor's office refuses to do any scans until after 8 weeks, even though I have a history of MC and ectopic pregnancy. I know that even if I could just see a gestational sac in my uterus, I would feel so much better!
Questions: Only the normal googling questions, even though I've done this a few times... "Is this pain normal", "is it okay when certain symptoms lessen or disappear", etc. 🤷♀️

Upcoming Appointments: May 26, it’s my first appointment and is only over the phone. Which feels like a long time to have an in-person, but this is my first pregnancy so maybe it’s normal
How are you feeling?: cramps here and there but mostly just exhausted. I could just empty the dishwasher and feel like I need a nap
Rants/Raves: grateful for these discussions because not having an ultrasound until 12 weeks and not telling anyone until then has been very isolating
Questions: is it normal to not have and ultrasound and first in-person appointment until 12 weeks? I talked to two different OB offices near me and they were both the same. Phone appointment at 8 weeks, ultrasound at 12.

I would be in London with the Ted Lasso gang, which I would love! London is one of my favorite cities so hoping I would not only survive but thrive:)

How are you feeling?: good. Had some trouble sleeping and staying asleep but I’ve cut out caffeine and finally slept last night so hopefully that’s the fix.
Rants/Raves: No just so excited to finally be pregnant! 😍
Questions: How do you reassure yourself everything is fine until you see the heartbeat? How do you reassure your partner that everything is fine? My partner is so anxious that something will go wrong.

How are you feeling?: Pretty good, I am tired and I’ve had a few moments of nausea. This is my 3rd and I know the nausea and tiredness will only get worse in the next few days and weeks so I’m trying to hold on to my last few days of feeling relatively normal!
Rants/Raves: My 5 year old brought home a cold + I teach AP and this week is their test so I am also exhausted due to all of that. Just want the school year to be done at this point.
Questions: Did anyone else feel cold as a early pregnancy symptom? I don’t remember this from either of my other pregnancies but I swear I am freezing and it’s been 70+ degrees where I live.

1. Insurance typically only pays for one scan per trimester so they need a diagnosis to do a second, which is not likely to come from an early scan.
2. Heartbeats can be detected in office at 6 weeks is.
3. Miscarriages are very common (Id say more than 1 in 4) and in 99% of cases, cannot he stopped. Most first time women lose their babies before that point for chromosomal reasons before 10 weeks.
Personally, after losing nearly a dozen babies, I don't want to go in before 10 weeks to heart or see my baby to have it not be so later on. If you are worried, which is totally understandable and I'm in the same boat, your doc can order HCG tests to be done weekly.
EDD / Weeks + Days: January 17th / 3 weeks 3 days (SO early)

Upcoming Appointments: Nope, Had my first blood draw today. My OB opened his new practice and the office seems a little discombobbled. So, I will call to follow up on next steps once I see my results on the portal.
How are you feeling?: Good. Slight waves of nausea but nothing major. I barely had any first trimester symptoms during my last pregnancy so I am not expecting much.
Rants/Raves: Nope.
Questions: Anyone else test positive so early. I literally got a positive at 8DPO / exactly 3 weeks pregnant. CRAZY!

Had my 3rd beta this morning so I’m feeling a bit more ready to jump in and participate.

How are you feeling?: anxious but mostly good. Sore boobs, intermittent nausea, and fatigue are my main symptoms.
Rants/Raves: my beta was closer to doubled this morning so I’m remaining cautiously optimistic. But DD tested positive for Covid this morning which sucks. She’s not vaccinated yet since she’s only 4 and ineligible which is definitely giving me a lot of anxiety but hopefully it’ll stay mild. Honestly, if it weren’t for her having a fever this morning, I wouldn’t have even suspected.
