5 weeks pregnant and having on and off bleeding

Hello! I need help I’m 5 weeks pregnant and noticed I’m getting a little spotting as I wiped myself. It’s a little reddish to brownish. I notice to that I’m having lower back pain and a little cramping not bad I would say it’s probably like 4 on scale of pain. Is it normal?!

    Hey. I am 5+6 and I just started having brown spotting yesterday when wiping. My dr said it can be normal but I went to er anyways. Saw baby and hb. Made me feel better but today it has increased just a tad and turned to a rust color also. So nerve wracking. I have a history of m/c so it is super stressful. I pray you have a healthy pregnancy and baby.

    Yeah mine it has turned brown, but it still scares me I haven’t got no cramping at this point I notice is when I’m already in bed sleeping. And Awee I’m so sorry to hear that. I pray and hope you also have a healthy pregnancy and baby. They say just rest and take it easy. And to not stress just pray to god so he can guide you through it.. 🙏🏻

    I’m 6+4 today & having spotting/bleeding also. Had sex Friday & been happening since then. I called my OB she said it’s probably just “contact bleeding” but it’s making me so anxious! Mine is brown / rust color also. I have my 1st appointment tomorrow so I hope I will hear good news then.

    I have not had sex at the moment, but yeah it’s probably cause how you had sex I think it’s normal cause it does happen. I hope everything turns out good for you and pray you get good news. Me till today I’m still bleeding but mine turns brown, I have my doctors appointment Tuesday I’m so anxious to see him.

    Yes normal- even if you aren’t having sex. Especially if it is brown and when wiping.

    Yeah till today I’m still having that brown spot, yesterday I actually bleeded a lot but it went away and started to get brown color I was so scared. Tomorrow I have my doctors appointment hopefully he gives me good news and that this is all normal.

    I’ve been having pink and brown spotting/discharge and it’s making me so anxious too. This is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what is normal and what is not. I’m going for blood testing today and am
    Praying everything is normal. I also started spotting after having sex and my OB nurse said it’s most like contact bleeding from the cervix. Hoping that’s all it is! My first ultrasound is not until the 27th and that seems so far away! I’m just ready to see baby!

    Awee yeah it’s probably cause how you had sex, but I think I’m your first trimester is normal to bleed just not a lot . But you will be fine have faith in god and pray talk to your baby. And don’t let stress and anxiety take over you stay strong and positive cause then you will make it worse for yourself. I know is hard to remain calmed but have faith you will be fine. Today I actually stopped bleeding I’m so happy cause I know my baby is great. Pray everything is well for you!🙏🏻

    Thank you! We went for a blood test today and go back Thursday. Love the idea of talking to baby and praying I need to because I want it to be healthy!!

    Your welcome.☺️ Awe that’s great hopefully everything is well for you. And same here I got blood test today to check my levels and go bak Friday. Hopefully everything turns out good for me and ultrasound done Friday as well, just wanna see how my baby is doing. And yess I always talk to my baby make him/her happy and wanting to hang in there for a great while make him/her feel the love and care. Yess always pray to god everything will be great for you. Same here I want my baby to be healthy so I can hold him/her already..🥰

    Am in the same position, 4wks gone and I had brown discharge but today it changed too a more dark reddish colour, it was only when I wiped but stuck a pad on while I was at work and there was a little on the pad, I've just done another test and it's still positive but I am a nervous wreck, the hospital said I've to wait until 6wks then if still positive and still bleeding to get a scan.
