Baby Boy named Boyd ??

Anybody have an opinion on the name Boyd for a boy? Does it sound too much like an old man? I want a unique name but one that people have at least heard of before. And I love names with meaning! Boyd was my grandfathers name who I obviously loved but my husband also thought the WORLD of (and the feeling was mutual!) . He only had three grandkids and the other two are both done having kids and had all girls so this is the only boy who could have potentially carried his name other than my cousin who has his middle name. At first I thought it was way too old fashioned for me but it’s kind of growing on me. My husbands middle name is Harper so I keep coming back around to Boyd Harper .. opinions?

    I love Boyd! We considered older names for our twins than are due next month. We liked Norman and Margot but we already have two kids and thought it sounded weird with modern names (Raelynn and Jaxon).
