Monday Bitchfest 4/25

I know this is late, but I am sure we still have them. 

I am pissed at the airport that made it seem like dh's flight didn't even exist when I looked at their website.  I totally panicked!  All was well, but for some reason they just didn't have it listed.

    Well, I didn't have anything earlier this week, but I sure do today. My DS, 9yo in 3rd grade, has been getting picked on and teased all year by an older boy (5th grade). They both attend afterschool care. Yesterday, the boy pulled DS off some playground equipment and then took his glasses and threw them. He ended up losing a lens. The punishment was the boy getting sent home early. Today he was right back to it and snuck up behind DS and pinched putty into his hair. I've tried so many things and it won't come out! My MIL is a cosmetologist and is on her way to try but if it doesn't work, she might have to cut his hair!!! He just finally got suspended today. This he's been threatening and bullying DS all year! I'm so frustrated it had to get to this point. Not to mention my pregnancy hormones have my mama bear mode in overdrive. I cried when I got the call from school today. I'm sick of him having to deal with this.

    @ashnicell that’s infuriating! I hope they find a reasonable solution to keep your son safe. Have you tried peanut butter or baby oil?

    @Gingermom15 My MIL got it out with coconut oil, a fine tooth comb, and a lot of patience. He got extended time playing Mario kart while he sat and treated to an ice cream cone after dinner for being such a good sport. And we both got in some snuggle time before bedtime, which I think I needed more than he did. 🥰

    That's awful! I hope the school starts to take this seriously. This kid could seriously hurt your child, or others. At the very least the parents should pay for the glasses repair.

    I'm just going to complain about the weather, like the good New Englander I am. Its cold y'all! Even with sun it is only 43F right now. I don't want to have my hands go numb when I walk the dog in the morning.

    it's currently 37 with a feels like of 28 and raining... It's the end of April. WHY!?

    @PurplePumpernickel I know your pain! I’m in Minneapolis and all the trees are stiiiillll naked. My cherry tree had blossoms by this time last year and today was the first day that I noticed even a little bit of green buds popping out of the branches.

    @autumn87654321 I live in MN too and can confirm this spring weather is absolute crap! I’m out visiting a Colorado for the weekend and am ready to move back here. 70s all week/weekend, yes please! My body barely knew how to process seeing sunshine!

    @autumn87654321 and @sunshine2417 I know how you both feel. I'm in WI, so we get all the weather from MN just a few hours to a day later.
