When I was a teenager my grandparents purchased Michael Jackson's giraffes and a tiger cub (along with a bunch of birds and a camel). Now my grandparents are absolute trash people BUT for a couple of days I got to pet Giraffes and bottle feed a tiger cub. As a mega cat lover/person it was a dream come true. Fortunately the tiger ended up going to a proper sanctuary because only an idiot would try to keep a pet tiger but for those couple of days it was pretty great.
First thing that comes to mind is a recurring one, which was our Easter egg hunts. I loved them, they weren't elaborate, just chocolate eggs all over the house, but the magic of waking up to that in the morning was the best. Our Easter bunny (my Dad) did this all the way through my last year living at home at 17. I still miss it.
