14 weeks and EXHAUSTED!!!

I am 14 weeks pregnant and I am absolutely EXHAUSTED. Anyone else still having this issue? Any advice on things to help with this. I work and I also have an almost 3 and a half year old. My husband is amazing with helping with everything. I am just soooooo tired!!!!!!

Re: 14 weeks and EXHAUSTED!!!

  • I'm pretty tired myself. I feel like the couch and I have become best friends.

  • Exhausted here too. Last time it got better for me around 16 weeks. I've been going to bed super early at night. Ready for that second tri energy.
  • I'm 11 weeks and 4 days and extremely exhausted too! If I don't have my lunch time nap I'm worthless through out the day.
  • I'm at 14 weeks and super tired. I'm waiting for that burst of energy. I'm in bed no later than 8pm everyday. I have a 7 year old and two year old. Thankful for my husband for helping out!!
  • Yup so tired! Sleeping 12hrs every night, taking a nap in the afternoon too. I can't keep up with my kids. And I can't even stomach coffee to help :( I need energy!!!

  • I hope it gets better soon for all of us! I took naps the last two days, but I can't take them on work days. :(
  • Exhausted!! I'm a 2nd grade teacher and by the end of the day I'm lucky my heads not asleep on the desk! I always leave school right after the kids because I can barely stand by 330! Hoping what they say is true about gaining energy in 2nd tri!

I'm 15 weeks and some change, and my exhaustion seems to have gotten worse. Its a cruel joke though, because I'll sleep for maybe 2-3 hours and wake up and have a hard time falling back asleep. I could barely keep my eyes open on the drive to work tonight. I told DH earlier there aren't enough hours in the day to sleep and go to work. I'm starting to think the 2nd tri "energy boost" is a lie!! Made up to give us hope while in the 1st tri.
  • I keep waiting for the energy burst. To add to being tired, for the past two days I have been throwing up as well. I really thought this was supposed to be over. I never once threw up with my son.
  • I'm 16 weeks on Saturday and I'm drained of energy from the moment I wake up :( I'm in bed about 7:30 (in bed now lol) thankfully my 6 & 2 year old have been Angels and understand mummy needs rest when they go to bed xx
  • I'm trying so hard to not fall asleep at my desk right now.  Like the rest of you I'm hoping this ends soon, I just want to get back to a semi normal routine without feeling like a need a nap all the time.
  • Yep, on the couch now about to crash. Thank goodness for takeout and a husband to help with our almost 2 year old!!
I had a cappucino this afternoon and it totally saved me.
  • Saaaame here! 14 weeks also and no energy yet. I've switched to a different chewable vitamin with iron and calcium in hopes that it will make some difference. Looking forward to that energy burst I keep hearing about lol
