Ian or Ivan

We're expecting our 4th child and are waiting on gender. If a boy, baby will have my hubby's middle name, Carvell. I wanted the boy to have the same initials as hubby. His first name is Varian and I liked the name Vince/Vincent but hubby didn't it want due to knowing others with the name. That also cut out Vance because it's too close to Vince. We thought of Vander, Vyson...but I felt no attachment. I really like Cade but really want our last baby to have a strong meaning and Cade means round, sturdy. After one night of praying and researching, I have found a lot of meaning and connection by taking Ian from hubby's first name...Ian Carvell. I love that it means God is gracious/God's gift and it is a form of John, which pays tribute to my mom's and mom-in-love's maiden names, Jones and Johnson. My mom-in-love recently passed so also fitting tribute to her. Ian is really growing on me. I also like Ivan. We only have 4 weeks left! Thoughts?
