@tryingktogku oooh those are big changes! my mom has been GF and DF for 10-11 years, and my best friend from college works in publishing... so you didn't ask for it... i've got cookbooks for you! they both sprinkle in some dairy (cheese) but you can sub w/vegan cheese or eliminate

What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week/year? i'm like dory, but instead of swimming it's just keep peloton'ing. i've got a 14 week streak going! i'm really getting 2-3x a week, and would like to be 3-4x but that would involve getting my butt up in the morning which is still a struggle!!

How's everything going? Any recent wins? one of my best friends from college moved to LA last year, and she also has a peloton, we've been doing Thursday pelo dates and it's so fun. we are alternating who picks the class b/c we have slightly different tastes in music/instructors.

What has you motivated or struggling? i miss my abs, i need to be a more consistent on strength training and stretching. my poor hamstrings are tiiiiiiight.

Edit bc spelling is hard. 🙃
  • @anniemarie887 I’m so jealous I wanted a pellet on bad but they don’t ship to where I live! I loveeee spinning! Good for you for getting in it so often! And thanks for the recipes I’m always looking for more! I’m not completely GF DF but trying to atleast limit lol
  • @tryingktogku that’s insane they don’t deliver to where you live! I had no idea that was a thing.

@tryingktogku good for you!! if you find any wins on the GF DF side you'll have to let us know. I went GF DF myself last year (not fully, but mostly) and still could not live without real cheese. Vegan cheese just doesn't do it for me. here are some of my favorite recipes:

  • @mrsmtothek omg thank you! Yes I’m always looking for new recipes! I was strictly Gf DF for 9 straight months and literally only ate like meat, rice, potatoes and vegetables lol
  • @tryingktogku That’s great you’re making so many positive changes. I’ve quit coffee and reduced alcohol significantly in the last month, and I definitely feel better for it.

@anniemarie887 That’s awesome that you have a friend to spin with. Accountability is always so helpful.

What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week/year? My go-to goal is 30 minutes of movement daily

How's everything going? Any recent wins? I’m getting my running life back after a series of unfortunate events that kept me from running for a good 8 weeks. And I just started my favorite weight training program from the beginning again this week.

What has you motivated or struggling? Getting back into fighting shape is such a struggle, and I am using it as motivation to be committed and never get out of shape again!
  • @tryingktogku those are big changes! Good luck, and let us know if you find any good recipes!

@anniemarie887 thats great!! I was doing so well with spinning and then our house was hit will multiple waves of sickness and I fell off the wagon. I'm trying to get back on though!

@maggiemadeit it is SO tough to get back after being out of it for any significant length of time. I'm right there with ya!

What habits, goals, or resolutions are you focusing on this week/year? I'm getting back into working out regularly after being spotty over the past 4-5 weeks.

How's everything going? Any recent wins? I worked out twice last week, which is more than the zero before that. I think I'll be able to hit 3-4 this week, so that's what I'm shooting for.

What has you motivated or struggling? Just trying to get back in better shape for pregnancy is my biggest motivation, that and setting a good example. I'm struggling because we still have a lot of food left in the house after the holiday weekend celebrations.
