Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: Pretty sure my RE dated me 11/9?
FTM/STM/TTM+: STM to a 4.5 year old
Upcoming Appointments or Results: Nothing until April 25, but my last progesterone shot is Thursday and I cannot wait for my butt to stop feeling like a pincushon!
How are you feeling?: It kind of feels like my baseline nausea is getting more intense, which isn't great timing because we're supposed to go to NYC this weekend.
Rants/Raves: We were at a bday party over the weekend and one of the dads we hung out with tested positive for COVID. I know the pandemic isn't over, and there are a lot of people in a lot worse positions than we are, but I'm so tired of the every few months panic whenever there is a close contact, or one of us has the sniffles.
Questions: On that note, for those who have seen their OBs already - are pregnant people eligible for a fourth shot? I'll obviously ask my OB when I see them in two weeks, but wanted to check if it has come up with any of y'all.
Upcoming Appointments or Results: May 4th I had an ultrasound last Friday that confirmed my due date. baby looked good and heart rate was 177. I’m not super big on old wives tales but my previous three kids are boys and were usually in the 150s.
How are you feeling?: like complete garbage. The 24/7 nausea is killing me
Questions: my ultra sound showed a small hematoma. Has anyone had one before? I’m not having any bleeding so they are just going to wait until the anatomy scan to see if it goes away on its own or changes. I’m suppose to call if I do have any spotting/bleeding.
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: November 15, 9 weeks today.
FTM/STM/TTM+: first time mom
Upcoming Appointments or Results: just had my first appointment last week! Ultrasound confirmed due date. Next appt is may 5.
How are you feeling?: nauseas and tired all the time
Rants/Raves: just sick of feeling sick. And also wanting to tell the world I’m pregnant so badly!
Questions: I have anxiety about “staying pregnant.” In other words, I feel like even though my ultrasound was reassurance that everything is moving along… how do you get through not having an ultrasound every week haha or even every month!
Also in response to @clee5711 I also showed hematoma on my ultrasound but I only saw because I read the report after I got home. There was no mention during my appt so I am assuming it’s ok.
@emmaliz12 the only perk to constantly feeling sick is the reassurance it brings me that everything is going well with baby in between appointments and scans
@emmaliz12 it's haaaard lol, especially in the beginning. It gets easier as they start moving so you can physically feel them. But I constantly say to my hubby that I wish I had a window into my uterus to check on the little dumpling. My pregnancy with my daughter was tough because I had a weekly ultrasound at the end with my son (cholestasis means I was high risk) and since my pregnancy with her was perfect the last time I saw her before birth was 20 weeks lol
Momma to 3 angels and two amazing children
F born June 2018 W born September 2020 #3 due November 2022
Upcoming Appointments or Results: Had first appt and ultrasound today! Everything looked good and baby was wiggling all over. I’ll post a pic in the US thread. Next appt. will be NIPT test, May 13.
How are you feeling?: nauseous, tired, a little short tempered (b6 + unisom is helping a bit)
Upcoming Appointments or Results: May 3 ultrasound
How are you feeling?: tired and bloated
Rants/Raves: i have brownish spotting so not doing major exercise or having sex. The spotting is so stressful! Can’t wait to see baby again in a few weeks.
@chuckle_sandwich noooo I hate that! We had a bit the other day but it didn't stick around. We normally get a snowstorm on Easter but it looks like it might pass us this year

F born June 2018 W born September 2020 #3 due November 2022
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: Nov 13, 9w3d but doc said baby is measuring about 3 days larger which makes sense because I ovulated every early that cycle
FTM/STM/TTM+: 1st time!
Upcoming Appointments or Results: get to hear the heartbeat on Doppler on Apr 25th and do NIPT. Like @emmaliz12 i wish I could have weekly appointments to make sure everything’s fine and the waiting it torture!
How are you feeling?: extremely fatigued. Slept 10 hours one night over the weekend and woke up feeling like I got 4. My nausea has been bad since week 5, then picked up speed to add lots of vomiting week 7, and yesterday finally felt like an okay day with just mild nausea in the evening. Today seems like I’ll be downhill again also the food aversion is a whole other animal. I get a physical reaction to the thought of any food that’s in my fridge so just struggling to keep my body nourished.
Rants/Raves: it seems like I’ve got a tiny baby bump coming along which makes me happy. It most definitely can be bloat but I’m telling myself it’s baby getting big and strong in there. Also have anyones boobs gotten huge?? I compared my 7 week “bump” picture to my 9 week and holy moly!
Questions: when does the placenta start to take over? And how do you know? I’ve read so many conflicting things but hoping it’s soon
@PurplePumpernickel, my ob says pregnant persons are not currently on the list for a 4th shot, but she wouldn't be surprised to see that change in Oct with cold&flu season. (US for ref, may be different in other countries.)
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: Due the 11th. Currently 9 + 5.
FTM/STM/TTM+: First-time
Upcoming Appointments or Results: Just had my first ultrasound Monday. I was told everything is looking good so far, which relieved some anxiety.
How are you feeling?: I was struggling really bad with nausea, but finally found the right combination of meds 🙌
Rants/Raves/Questions: Depression and anxiety hit really hard this week. I’m feeling really lonely in this pregnancy. I have a great support system, but not having anyone to related to in-person is really hard. It’s making me really thankful to have you all. Is anyone else experiencing this?
@little_umlaut Yes! I had a really rough week with my depression. I'm FTM and none of my close friends have kids. The only person I talk to who has been pregnant is my mom, and clearly that was a while ago. So now I'm dealing with all of these changes to my body and I don't have anyone to commiserate with, just very happy, non pregnant people telling me how great this is and "oh but think of the baby!"
@erey339 I’ve breasts aren’t nearly as painful as they were a few weeks ago. They are still bigger than my baseline, but just mildly sore now.
@ftmhem Same here! But I guess I’d rather have positivity from people than people telling me how much harder it will be when the baby comes. Just have to take it day by day. I’m hoping that it’s just my hormones going crazy, & I’ll be a bit more level when 2nd trimester comes.
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 11-15 by ultrasound I have irregular periods since my last endometriosis surgery
STM but third pregnancy had an ectopic and lost a tube 10 years ago.
Upcoming Appointments or Results: first official ob doctor appointment in a week and a half she didn't treat my last appointment as an ob because I was not sure how far along I am
How are you feeling?: nauseous and my belly hurts 24/7 . I'm high risk because of having multiple issues with my son. I'm very stressed out and feel crazy. My son was kidnapped by his dad and taken several states away. I'm trying to remain calm but I feel like absolute garbage 24/7.
Rants/Raves: my BD is the abuser that I finally got away from and then found out that I am pregnant.
Questions: does anyone have any tips or tricks for dealing with the mood swings? I don't know if it is everything going on or the hormones or a combination but I feel like a raving lunatic
Est Due Date / Weeks + Days: 10 weeks tomorrow! due Nov 14
FTM/STM/TTM+: FTM but third pregnancy (my first pregnancy to make it this far ☺️ feeling hopeful)
Upcoming Appointments or Results: I have a bloodwork appointment tomorrow (for NIPT and some carrier screenings) but my next ultrasound isn’t until May 16th. I don’t know how I’m going to wait so long!
How are you feeling?: Nauseous and exhausted. Constantly. I know eating helps with both of these, but I don’t want to eat anything. Everything sounds gross except ginger ale and apple juice. I really miss enjoying food, I will never ever take loving food for granted again 😩
@erey339 yes boob pain is decreasing but they definitely don’t feel “normal” lol. And I had brown spotting (more like tinted discharge) for weeks 5&6 then it slowly stopped I think week 7. It was nerve wracking as hell!!! Hang in there. It’s normal during lots of pregnancies 💕
@little_umlaut I am feeling a bit depressed by all the laying around but I don’t have enough energy to reach out to anyone. I just keep hoping the bad symptoms will be over soon, this is temporary. We have been trying and hoping to get pregnant for a while and went through a few miscarriages last year, so I feel bad complaining about something I have wanted so much! I keep trying to be appreciative of the symptoms bc they indicate a healthy bb, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t awful to deal with constantly.
