Bleeding after TV Ultrasound

I had a clear positive test for the first time last Thursday, have had light spotting, mostly brown or light pink in color.. until yesterday when it started to turn red. Went into the OB and they did a TV ultrasound. She couldn't find anything since it is so early.. estimate at 5 weeks and a day.. but she said the uterus lining looked perfect and no other issues. Last night when I got home the blood got heavier and today even Moreso. It's red, stringy.. looks like a period. The ultrasound tech said that bleeding is common in the beginning but I'm so worried about a miscarriage. I don't have any bad cramps so that's good but I'm stressed out. Any similar stories? Hopefully that ended up with a healthy little one?!
