3 week old trying to sleep through night

Is it okay for my 3 week old to already be trying to sleep for long stretches? Some naps and sleeps during the night she will go 4-5 hours if I don’t wake her. I know you’re supposed to wake them every 3 hours to feed, but my babe was an 11lb 8oz chonk at birth and doc said she had reserve to lose so I haven’t been stressing about it. Anyone have any experience with this?

Don’t stress and enjoy the long stretches!!!

As long as baby has passed their original birth weight, it is ok for them to go a little longer between feeds!

If baby is gaining weight then they are getting enough to do longer stretches of sleep. You are doing a great job? At 3 weeks old mine has a couple times done 4 hour sleep stretches.
