Is Sophie spunkier than Sophia or just too cutesy-does it age well? Is Sophia more classic?
We also really like Emilia, but a cousin got an Amelia which, with our older daughter, kept us from giving the name. She's a Maeve. Still really like Emilia and less troubled about the almost name sake now as we live far away. In the country I am from Emilia is much more common (and it's a different name to me) so no, we do not wish to consider the in North America so popular Amelia. Not too worried about her having to possibly spell it but maybe Sophia is just more international and less "time stamped" as I know people with this name in most age groups?! HELP. I'm spiraling with this.😆
