NICU baby...

My babys one month old today and shes still in the NICU an hour away from me, its really hard.    Any other mommys going through this

    I'm sorry to hear this. My baby was in the NICU for 2 weeks when born a month premature and I cried every day for most of the day. 
    In other words, I empathize. 
    Most NICUs have a free-to-stay parental suite. The hospital where I am does, here in Ontario, Canada. The room was cold and the bed was very uncomfortable, but it was possible to stay. 
    Depending on who was working at the time, while I stayed there, another couple stayed with their baby and none of the nurses (that I know of) bothered them. I know they stayed with their baby in the NICU for at least 2 days straight. 
    As this is months since this posting, I do hope that everything worked out well :)
