Currently 7 weeks and feeling/ looking massive and so uncomfortable. I’m pretty active (OTF / Peloton 4x a week) and I’m concerned that my shorts / pants are barely buttoning at this point. I’m eating prunes, flooding my body with water, taking miralax etc., but cannot seem to get my body to adapt. Is this happening to anyone else?
As it’s getting warmer, I also want to order a few pair of shorts for the summer but have no idea what to order if I’m already at this point and it’s still so early. One size up, two sizes up? Does this stage of being super bloated and uncomfortable typically subside after the first trimester?
First trimester is all about survival and right now you need to adapt to your body instead of the other way around. Listen to your body and eat what it wants and rest when it needs it. You’ll likely start to feel better in a few weeks. Eat small meals throughout the day. And just think, you only have approximately 33 more weeks to go!
