ANOTHER baby!?

Kind of freaking out over here! Is it at all possible it's leftover hcg from my last pregnancy? Because I do NOT think I can handle another pregnancy and baby. I have 3 year old twins, an 18 month old, and an 8 week old. I came home from the hospital on birth control. The furthest I could be is about 4 weeks, with the earliest due date being December 2nd. My OB managed to squeeze me in next week on Monday. Anybody else in this position? I just do not know if I can handle another pregnancy and baby right now. My youngest is a really challenging baby as it is, and then I have three other kiddos who need me. There aren't enough hands, or boobs, to go around.

I've always gone into labor early, so if we  are totally insane and decide to have this baby, it will be a November baby.

    Hcg can stay in your system and cause a false positive weeks after delivering a baby. I looked it up and found some sources saying 3 weeks after and others saying 6-7 weeks after. Best thing to do is what you're doing, getting into the OB asap. I would be freaking out too!

    What I've found is similar, 3-5 weeks for leftover hcg. But my test was a blazing positive and i have symptoms starting up. But I'm hoping and praying that's all it is, I'm still taking the minipill.

    Similar boat as you. I’ve got an 8 year old girl 4 year old boy and 9 month old boy and just this week found out I’m pregnant AGAIN. Idk how I feel about it quite yet. We know we are keeping it but I am not immediately excited about things this time around. I feel like I just got my body back and am back above water after dealing with some tough PPD. And then comes the mom guilt for not being happy about this little babe and God forbid something happen to it or I think about my friends or family members who have had the hardest time conceiving and here I am accidentally pregnant. With time I know the maternal instinct will kick in. But I’m hoping it’s soon.
