WAYDTGKU: pnv, BD daily, and OPKs

R/R: just found a study that shows men on metformin increases a risk of birth defects. Guess what H is taking for his diabetes? Yeah....so we hurried and made an appointment with his endocrinologist to go over the concern/his meds....in May. 🥹

CS/Q: anyone else's male partner take metformin?

@firecracker_mama Is this a new study recently released? I can't help you with the metformin question but you're doing the right thing by talking to endocrinologist. I would also not necessarily look at that one study. See if you can find others. One thing I learned from my 2+ years of IF is that most studies are shit and you can always find one that supports your POV. It's important to do a broad search and understand the limitations of it.

WAYDTGKU: super-o hail Mary cycle where I ovulate ALL THE EGGS

R/R: Today is MH's first personal training session and I'm SUPER excited! This was my gift to him for his bday. He's never worked out before but has been increasingly mentioning how he's like to get a personal trainer for 2-3 months to learn how to do it so we can then build a home gym. And of course he had lots of hang ups/reservations... like he didn't want to be in a huge gym with everyone staring at him/his unfit self. So I found him a really small private gym where only 2 trainers work at any given time. We met the trainer on Sunday and both REALLY liked him. So he'll be going twice a week on Wed/Sat for the next several months!

In other news, it's O day and I'm ready for it! My ovaries have been on fire for the past few days. Of course, now it's my boobs' turn to hurt. Argh... Oh well.

Month/Cycle: 14/3 AL

CD: 10

WAYDTGKU: OPK, HIO, PNV, CoQ10, BBT, baby aspirin, progesterone after ovulation

R/R: I had my SSG yesterday and everything looked great! I also had about a 15mm follicle brewing, and my lining is at about 7mm already. My RE thinks I'll be ovulating within a week! If I don't ovulate for some reason in the next 10-12 days, we'll either induce a period and try clomid next cycle, or she said we might even be able to jump straight into an IUI if my lining is still thick and a follicle is still there. Has anyone heard of that?

@bearmomma1 I will take any and all cheese! I think at 15mm, your follicle will probably be ready to release the egg in 3-4 days. However, if it's slow-growing, then yeah, I don't see why you couldn't do a trigger and IUI. But like I said, I doubt very much it's gonna stick around for that long.
