Spotting?

Hi all!
I’m 5 weeks as of today and started spotting yesterday. Just light brown sometimes when I go to the bathroom and have had a couple spots on a pantyliner. I had a chemical pregnancy in December, so I’m overly anxious. My doctor says to “wait and see” and to let them know immediately if I see bright red. Anyone else experience this? All the women I’m close to don’t have any experience with spotting.
