CD: 1 (woo hoo!)

WAYDTGKU: PNV, FF, BBT

R/R: Went off birth control last week and I am so excited I finally belong to the WTO thread. I also took my first BBT this morning. (Not first ever, just first for this round of TTC.)

CS/Q: Nope.

GTKY: What's for dinner this week? I actually signed up for a promotion through Home Chef. It is the first time we are ever trying a meal subscription. The first two dinners we made were SO good. Not sure if it's worth it cost wise to keep up with it after the promotion but I plan to enjoy the three week discount we got.

GTKY: What's next on your list to watch (TV show, movie, etc.): The only show I really watch is This is Us. I am not a big TV person. I am waiting for YOU to start up again too. Not sure when that is happening.

@ReadyForaB hey lady! nice to see you here again. Good luck with that food subscription. I lamented on my experience with that in yesterday's WTO.

Month/Cycle: 26/20/3AL

CD: 7

WAYDTGKU: super-ovulation medicated cycle + timed intercourse; plus some meds to help a potential embryo "stick" plus all the usual & unusual vitamins and supplements.

R/R: I'm off today because I have 2 medical appointments (I'm getting a Mayan abdominal massage!) so I figured I might as well make a day out of it. Might get a mani-pedi while I'm out as well. And I have to go to Costco too so I'm hoping Tuesday afternoon isn't a busy time there.

CS/Q: nope

GTKY: What's next on your list to watch (TV show, movie, etc.)? So, MH and I are getting through StarTrek series and we're only about half way through DS9 (having previously finished TNG). So technically next is Voyager, but H also wants to cancel the Netflix subscription since we get HBO through Apple and also have Prime. So we might just pick up Voyager on BluRay and watch it that way. In which case, next is either Season 4 of Marvelous Mrs. Maizel, or Season 3 of Tacoma FD.

@ReadyForaB welcome welcome! I'm always super tempted to try those meal subscriptions, but something tells me I'd still spend the same amount on groceries because I get so anxious with the idea of an empty pantry and fridge lol.

@acleverusername Super curious about the massage - I definitely had to look up what it is . Have you ever had one before? Seems really beneficial, is it uncomfortable at all?

R/R: I took Thursday and Friday off from work this week from work to anticipate my parents coming to town, but I might still have to call in for a meeting on Friday and potentially prepare for it too (presentation, prep, etc). I haven't been looped in properly and I'm just anticipating the last-minute request downfall with sooooo much anxiety. I wish I could just not give an eff somtimes. On the plus side, I've decluttered so many corners of my house to prepare for their arrival and boy does it feel awesome. I still have a lot to clean but it'll get done.

CS/Q: Nope. Probs will start with the OPKs tomorrow. Anyone know when the best time to test for these? I always thought mornings were the best (similar to detecting hCG levels) but apparently not?

GTKY: What's next on your list to watch (TV show, movie, etc.)? Outlander has been releasing one episode a week this season and we didn't get to watch last week's episode, so when DH and I have a night off together that will definitely be my first pick.

@mrsmtothek okay, if you want to know the science behind LH surge, you should look into the OPK help thread and what I posted there in Sep-ish 2020. But basically, LH doesn’t get released at all during the night in the early follicular phase. But as you approach O, it starts to fire 24/7 but still fires the strongest during early afternoon. If you want to test in the morning, you’ll definitely catch your surge. If you want to test in the afternoon, as long as you manage a decent hold (2-3 hours) you’ll catch it then too.

As for Mayan abdominal massage, it was my first time but I LOVED it. She also taught me self-care so I can do that myself. She did front and back getting into and around my tail bone/sacrum. Was pretty intimate. Lol. I won’t be able to do back on my own.
