What was your hcg at 4 weeks?

Ok, so I know that everyone's levels are no where near the same and until now, after a miscarriage in November, I really never thought about hcg. I just got pregnant, carried a baby and delivered....that's until now at 42 I'm pregnant for what's going to be the final time and a nervous WRECK!! The nurse that answers the phone on the midwife line acts sooo nonchalant. I don't think there's more than ice in her veins, especially when I explained why I was so nervous about knowing. Her only response was, well, we don't really bring you in to confirm pregnancy. Like, you don't have to confirm it...Clear Blue Easy did. I just want to know if I'm moving along like I should be! So, I went to urgent care but a big story and got an hcg of 250 on Saturday. But I should've been around 3 weeks. I go into the OB tomorrow for a repeat quant and I'm nervous. Where do levels stop rising before you realize that it's a chemical?? HELP!

    My HCG at 13DPO was 16, and at 16 DPO It was 74. It's been doubling/tripling as it should so far with the many weekly bloodwork I have had since February 6th.

    My hcg was 778 on day 14 dpo which is 5 weeks for me (pcos cycles are longer). My next blood test will be on day 21. The range for hcg is so large so as long as your numbers are increasing that's all that matters! Good luck, glad to hear the 2nd test went well

    It may be because they are waiting to see if they double and are going up and in the right direction. 

    Sorry, but urgent care for HGC?  

    If you don't like the care you are getting or feel like you are not getting explanation that are clear then find an office that will.  HGC can only tell so much.  I know people who were "on track" and (sorry but) lost their baby and others whose numbers were wonky at the start but had a healthy baby.  Guess what?  When I had my kiddo we didn't even do HGC!!!! Its not a good indicator.

    Thanks lellers123! I had my second quant done on Wednesday and it came back at 2303. I NEVER paid attention to the numbers, but at this stage in the game, I'm older, had a recent miscarriage and just want to know. I'm on target and that's all I wanted to see or hear.
