Since we're talking food I just had rice pudding for my supper lol. I couldn't think of anything I really wanted except a ham sandwich which I couldn't eat right now (no teeth for anyone who missed it) so I went with second choice lol

@PurplePumpernickel It is basically like a cinnamon roll except filled with lemon curd and dried fruit. I am big into homemade pastry. If it was up to me we would have a weekly check in just about baking lol.
@ponyoisfun I'm definitely a baker too lol. Mostly cakes, cupcakes, and cookies (flavored and decorated) but I do a bit of everything. Except pie. I can't make pie crust to save my life lol

Sounds like we need to make this happen. I will propose it in the Board Organization thread. I have Spring Break next week and plan on baking all of the things.
@ponyoisfun I am constantly baking breads. Usually have sandwich bread I make for the kids each week and then I keep artisan bread dough in the refrigerator to pull out as needed for dipping bread, focaccia or homemade pizzas.
@mflowers929 Pie is my jam! I love making pie. We had pies for our wedding instead of cake.
@chuckle_sandwich I think my hands are just too warm. I have trouble with chocolate work too. My mom showed me some tricks since she has the same problem, but I can never seem to properly get it to come together and then trying to roll it out is a whole other ball of wax lol

I am (pleasantly) surprised with how polite everyone is on the board so far. My OG bump days were wild and users were so mean. I actually vowed to not join a BMB for this baby because my last two boards were wild. I don’t feel like I’m going to get harassed by the mean girls if I post here 😅
@Gingermom15 it's definitely way different from what I remember way back lol. I'm actually in a September 2020 group on FB that started over here. There's over 20 of us and we still check in with each other almost daily it's been nice

@mflowers929 I’m in December 15 and March 18 fb groups that started on TB. I’m pretty sure the members who didn’t come to our fb December group started their own and called themselves the mean girls 😒 I don’t understand how they could be proud of that. I’m super lucky with my Facebook groups, we got the best members from here
@Gingermom15 I have phenomenal groups from February 17 and September 19. My Feb17 group moved to FB as a large group but it wasn’t moving for a while, so some smaller groups broke off and I have an amazing set of friends from there. With Sept19, we moved to a private bump group with actives then to a FB group and there’s about 20 of us who basically have a full conversation going 24/7. We’ve done some great meetups too. It’s wonderful! There’s no need for hate and mean girls and bullying nonsense—we need organization, totally, but some people make it their personal job to be TB police and that’s just silly.
So funny how different bmb personalities emerge. I'm in a great FB group with 60(!) fellow June 17 bmb, but my mar19 and d20 I just didn't click with. I did the FB migration each time, and just slowly faded into the background and out of the group. I try to engage as much as I can, and I already have high hopes for this group, but we'll see. Maybe it's me 😂.
@sunshine2417 I love organization! Totally necessary. We’d have members post a one-off thread or say the wrong thing and get berated and bullied for days in my December group. One member was so awful she was IP banned, so she made an account at work and used it to bully members. Insanity.
I had positive experiences with both of my other boards and that is why I wanted to do it again. Both moved to private groups especially near the end, which was nice because we were having very in depth conversations by then.
@ponyoisfun once we moved with select members to Facebook it is so nice! Both groups are very active and have had meet ups. They’re invaluable for sure. The boards here were like a fever dream lol
@Gingermom15 that's crazy! No need of that at all. I know we had some people get mad at us for moving from the main board but we were sharing so much at that point it was kind of necessary. And really all we asked was for a bump picture with your due date to come on over too, but apparently that was too much for some people 🙄

This is is the first time I’ve used TB for a pregnancy. With my daughter in 2014 I was on a different platform and everyone was so supportive. We all have a fb group and many of us keep in touch regularly still. Hope to find the same with this group
@mflowers929 I’ve definitely heard of people having major catfish in their groups, so I’m all for the vetting when we get there. Who even has time for that? I’m exhausted keeping up with my own life and kids and remembering whether or not I took my meds each day 🤣 So much personal stuff gets shared too.
I had great experiences with my May18 and Feb 20 groups. I’ve met a few people in real life and have become very clase with my May group and our Feb group is still super active on fb.
@sunshine2417 not exactly a catfish, but one of my fb groups had a mom post a GoFundMe for medical expenses that were sort of 'off' and then a month later post about her gambling trip to Atlantic City. She is no longer a member lol. Just goes to show that even the tightest screening can't catch all the crazies.

Wooooooah so not cool! I hope people weren’t donating like crazy to help her out and then watching her blow it all!
After my husband, a small group from my July 2017 BMB were the first people who knew I was pregnant this time around.
Same! I actually haven't told anyone else yet, besides hubby, my former BMB, and my care team of course lol. I actually got so excited that I took and posted a pic to them before things had totally darkened up lol. We've been struggling to get pregnant this time around and they've been there for all of it so I figured they deserved to know
