First Ultrasound - Dates Wrong, but HCG very high

I truly appreciate any advice on here. I have had two miscarriages, so this is all hard for me. I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks ago and based on my first day of my last pregnancy, they said I should be 7 weeks along today. I went in for my first ultrasound today and only measured at 5 weeks and 6 days. The dates make sense, but my HCG levels at what I now realize was 4 weeks came back at 7800 (via blood test). My husband and I have been trying so hard and really want this to work, but I'm of course scared because we have lost 3 babies (1st miscarriage was twins and the 2nd was a singleton). My levels and dates just don't make sense. I have another ultrasound scheduled for next Friday to see if the baby is growing.

    Hi there! Unfortunately I don't have any advice to provide. I'm in a similar situation, also after a very recent pregnancy loss, and also waiting for a follow-up ultrasound tomorrow to see where things are. Just want to send some moral support. The unknowns and waiting are just so difficult, especially when you've experienced loss. Wishing you the best!
