GTKY: Would you rather...

I thought maybe we could try something new? I don't know how this will work out but.... why not try lol.
I'll start out with a "would you rather" question. You type out your response like normal. Then, if you have another "would you rather" question, add it to the end of your comment. That way the thread will keep going. If you don't have another question to add that's fine too, still type out your response!

Would you rather wash dishes, mow the lawn, clean the bathroom, or vacuum the house?

ETA: Feel free to answer whichever question you feel like it... or all of them lol.

I would much rather mow the lawn than any of the other things. I love being outside during the summer! Cleaning the bathroom is definitely last on my list lol.

Would you rather be in jail for five years or be in a coma for a decade?

Be in jail for 5 years, then at least you’re aware of what’s going on around you instead of waking up to a new world.

Would you rather go to the past and meet your ancestors or go to the future and meet your great great grandchildren?

@bearsandbeets7 Oh that’s a tough one. I think I would like to go to the past and meet some ancestors. I don’t know if I could handle meeting my great great grandchildren. Plus, going to the past sounds interesting!

Would you rather give up air conditioning and heating for the rest of your life or give up the internet for the rest of your life?

Ohhh that's a hard one! I could give up air conditioning, but living in MA, there's no way I could go without heat. I guess if I could move somewhere with great weather all year I could give up both! If I'm stuck living in MA, it looks like I'm giving up internet forever lol

Would you rather work the job you have now for a year at double your current rate of pay or have one year off with what you are making now?

I think I’d rather work the job I have now for double my current rate. I enjoy my job and realistically, I don’t think I could leave for a year and be able to jump back in.

Would you rather live in a house without water or electricity?

Electricity... i can read by candlelight and cook on the grill/fire but i hate pooing in the woods! This is why I love camping but could never be a serious backpacker :-)

Would you rather eat your favorite food everyday or have to eat something completely different everyday?

I'd rather eat something different every day! This bugs my husband so much because he can eat the same thing a lot, but I will plan leftovers so there is like a day between when we plan on eating them (freeze what we can't consume in a reasonable time). Hubby could eat the same thing for lunch + dinner and I just cannot understand that!

Would you rather go an an all-inclusive beach/resort/spa type of vacation, or visit a big city and take in museums, art galleries, restaurants, plays, concerts, etc. (assuming budget is a non-issue!)

@courtneyqdk They both sound lovely, but honestly, I'd rather go somewhere and visit what is there. When I visited Jamaica, we did a few days in Kingston touring the sites (as well as where my mom & her family lived/worked/went to school) and a few days at an all inclusive in Montego Bay. Definitely enjoyed Kingston more.

Would you rather always be a little hungry (like "munchy") or uncomfortably full?

Uncomfortably full. I struggled for years with food and body dysmorphia. The feeling of being hungry and eating always triggers anxiety in me because I was overweight and bullied for it as a kid then later struggled with anorexia as an adult. So I'm happy to feel full and not have to think about food while knowing my body is sufficiently nourished.

Would you rather live in a cabin in the mountains isolated from the world or in a busy and bustling metropolis?

@peppylilfoxy Mountain cabin any day. My husband knows if it wasn't for him I would be living in a wifi free treehouse somewhere. I hate the cities. NYC is my least favorite place in the world.
