Healthy Habits w/o 3/7

Welp TB is crashing when I try to add a gif so I will just describe it to you all because I thought it was adorable. It was a bunch of cheery cartoon root vegetables saying “We’re rooting for you!”

What goals are you setting for this week?

  • What goals are you setting for this week? Focusing on water this week. I downloaded (and paid for!) an app called Waterllama to shame me into hitting my water goal of 80 fl oz. It’s working well for me so far and I do think it’s helping me feel better physically.

    Any victories you want to celebrate? I had a really successful work out last Thursday that I felt great about. I finally got back to triple digits on my deadlift at low reps and didn’t have any abdominal pain after. I also caved on buying a maternity belt to wear during my work outs. We’ll see what that does for me. 

    Any struggles you need support on? I’m having this weird experience of staring at myself in the mirror on an almost nightly basis trying to recognize my body. I don’t know why I’m doing it. It’s almost this compulsive tic at this point. Like picking at a scab where you know it won’t be magically healed it’ll just keep bleeding but you do it anyway.
