6+ weeks brown spotting

I’ve had light brown spotting for a little over a week mainly when I wipe, no cramping. My OB said it was nothing to worry about since my HCG levels continue to rise. I keep wondering when it’s going to stop. I didn’t have it with my first. Anyone else have this going on?

    Yes, I’ve been having spotting as well when I wipe, although I would have cramping with mine. At one point, I had a large gush of pinkish blood, along with some bright red clots. I actually thought I miscarried but it turns out I have a subchorionic hematoma. That happened at 6 weeks. I’m now 8 weeks and still get cramping and brown spotting but I attribute that to the hematoma. Just remember that brown spotting is old blood, so whatever bleed you had is over. I know seeing blood is alarming, but I wouldn’t worry if it stays brown. If it turns pink or red, then I would contact your doctor.
