I went in for my second Beta this morning and the numbers were just under doubling for 48 hours so I'm pretty sure that's exactly what's to be expected. Still waiting to hear from the Dr to see if he wants to do a third draw but I am happy with the results. Based on what he says I am either going back for a third draw in two days or waiting until my first US on the 22nd (which feels like FOREVER away).

I havent scheduled an appointment with my doctor yet, but I got accepted with the midwives here so my first appointment with them in March 10th. It feels so far away!

I had a phone appt yesterday and have my first in-person appt and lab work on the 28th...the day after we return from Disneyland 🙃

I was supposed to go for my second blood quant this afternoon but winter storm has everything closed! I’m worried I might not be able to get in tomorrow either with closings

first draw showed low progesterone so I’m on 200mg to hopefully give it a boost. Lots of anxiety because my first pregnancy was ectopic and won’t have a US til the 22nd!

First appointment coming up on the 9th. It's a virtual check-in and I'm so happy that I've been paired with my same midwife! Hoping she'll schedule a dating ultrasound so I can see this lil nugget sooner than 11/12 weeks

@LoMarie89 How fun! I have yet to go to Disneyland but I frequent Disney World.
@robbinsegg317 I'm sorry you weren't able to get in due to the storm. I hope you are able to get in today. Also we are US twins!
@krthouse The 9th is right around the corner! I hope you are able to get in sooner as well!

AFM I heard from the dr and they are very happy with the betas and want to to do one more draw next week just to make sure the numbers are continuing to rise. I'm happy about that because it puts one more reassuring appt between now and my US on the 22nd, so that's great for my anxious self!

I am going to Disneyland at the same time too! I’m a little nervous because we are going with all of our friends and I don’t want them to know yet and I’m going to be sitting out on some of my favorite rides 😕

@tessiesmom26 I was able to get in!! I had to call another location but they were open for the one hour I needed to get there thank god

anxiously waiting today to hear if my numbers doubled fingers crossed!!

@tessiesmom26 Thank you!! Also, great news! My hcg more than doubled, so I’ll go for a placement US the 11th to rule out another ectopic for sure. Might be too early so see a bean but hopefully we’ll at least see a sac in the right place

Got my third HCG draw today and the numbers look good! Waiting for the official call from the dr office to confirm but I am pretty confident that things are moving in the right direction!!

First appointment today! Virtual appointment with my midwife and it was so nice to see her again. A student handled my intake last time and it was so nice to talk through my history and everything with my actual midwife this time. She is incredibly supportive and has been teaching midwifery since 1993 so I feel very fortunate to be in such skilled care. Dating and viability ultrasound tomorrow.

I had betas done this week - 92 on Wednesday and 206 today. Nothing else until an ultrasound on 2/25 but happy that things look promising so far.

Lurking...first pregnancy... Dr confirmed the same way I did 🙃 have to wait until Monday to call OB for an appointment.

Had a very nice appt with my GP, who I hadn't actually met in person yet (we recently moved out of state, so I had to find new people since my first pregnancy). She was super reassuring about my anxieties and told me we didn't need to overly pathologize pregnancy when things were going well. She said my body was made for this, that pregnancy is a normal physiological state and to trust in the process. She gave me referrals to a pelvic floor therapist and an anxiety specialist, and I'm really looking forward to following up with both of them. She also knew the midwife I am assigned to for my first prenatal appt and said she was amazing.

So even though my first prenatal appt isn't until 3/11 when I'll be almost 10 weeks, this really helped me feel better about where I'm at! Now I just have to attempt to chill out and keep busy through the next three weeks

My first appointment is scheduled 3/30 when I’m 10 weeks. I almost wish I didn’t find out so early so it doesn’t feel like such a long wait. I am so incredibly anxious and the next 6 weeks are going to drag.

I’m advanced maternal age (41) and my first appt is 3/10! It feels like so long away! (I’ll be 8 weeks). Has anyone else “AMA” not seen their doctor until 8 weeks?
