I’m not sure if this counts as a symptom, but my boobs have gotten so huge. I already had big breasts to start with, and this is ridiculous! My nipples are gigantic. I’m trying to be positive and complimentary of myself and I know that it is all beautiful, but some days it honestly just makes me laugh, it looks ridiculous!
Congestion at night is in full swing. I can only sleep with a humidifier on. And my skin around the waist is super itchy at times, which I know is due to skin stretching, but it's really annoying.
@shoarmie99 FWIT mine were a DD already, grew a bit during pregnancy last time and then actually deflated, which I fully appreciated. I'm hoping for the same this time around!

@Tulips29 I’ve been having belly itching again and I started using my vitamin E oil again (I’m horrible at skin care, self care, etc…) and it has stopped. It was such a relief.
@shoarmie99 I've been loving it! I admire myself in the mirror a lot lol. I know that after breastfeeding they'll be saggy and smaller so I'm enjoying the boobage now. Not too fond of my nipples and areolas, but that comes with the territory.
I passed out while just sitting in church last weekend! Ate French toast for breakfast, was drinking water, didn't have my legs crossed! Someone said it looked like I had a seizure, lasted for 30 seconds before I came to. Went to the hospital and everything was normal. My husband will be driving us anytime we need to get on the freeway now though. I'm glad we are safe but it was a big blow. I'm very strong, vigorous and energetic. Workout at least 3 days a week and my weight gain has been perfectly textbook. I feel betrayed.
@knottie - that sounds very scary! I’m glad you’re ok. Pregnancy takes a toll on the body for sure. Also, please change your username for easier tagging
Im on the struggle bus here. Nightly congestion makes it so hard to sleep. I wake up stuffy throughout the night, mouth super dry and sore throat from it all. It all goes away during the day though. Heartburn has been pretty strong in the evenings as well. The other day I had a migraine for 2 nights and couldn’t sleep. Combine it all together and my sleep has gone down the drain. Is it June yet?

@Tulips29 I am sorry you are on the struggle bus. My congestion from Covid has gotten a bit better, but congestion, especially at night is absolutely the worst. it actually makes me feel scared and keeps me up tossing and turning. Someone on here suggested using a humidifier because I was similarly having issues with a dry and sore throat, and now we’ve been running two of them at night and it has saved us. I have battled heartburn for the last five years, now it’s much worse with pregnancy, but I take a 10 mg Pepcid every morning and night along with Tums as needed and it helps a lot. check with your doctor about the Pepcid, but mine said it was fine and it really saves me. The Migraine sounds horrible! Do you ever take Unisom to sleep? I take half of one (specifically the doxylamine succinate 25mg since there are several kinds) and it helps a lot.
@shoarmie99 I have a humidifier on me all night as well, it helps some nights and some it doesn't as much. With my 1st, my congestion and discomfort were so bad, I had to sleep half-sitting for half of my pregnancy, which I'm afraid I might have to do again if this doesn't get better. I'll ask about pepcid at my next appointment, but Tums didn't do much for me last time. I should try again. And for migraines, my doctor said if Tylenol doesn't help, I can take 1 Excedrine migraine pill, just as long as I don't repeatedly take them, which seemed to help finally this time around. I'll ask about unisom as well. My MFM just kind of told me it's all par for the course and I just have to ride it all out. Glad you've found some remedies! All these things just suck the fun out of the process.

@Tulips29 I’ll second @shoarmie99 on the Pepcid. It took several days of taking it twice a day (mine’s a generic rx from my ob) but finally seemed to help.
My lower abs and/or uterus are cramping/contracting with pretty much any exertion right now. My trip was great but I way overestimated my physical capabilities. I cried rushing through the layover airport yesterday. I’ll be holed up watching TV all day today recovering.
I had the post painful shifting pain/ pressure in my vagina last night. The only thing that helped was propping my hips up and putting my feet elevated. I had this happen with my son but it didn’t start until around 35-36 weeks so I will be calling my doctor this morning when they open.
So on Friday night I had an internal burning pain so bad I called the on call doctor who told me that I could go to labor and delivery if it didn’t go away. Thankfully it subsided after a few hours. The doctor thinks the baby was sitting on a nerve bundle and it was nerve pain. Which would make sense, this thing seems to be really really low all the time. So now I’m trying to jiggle the monster into a different position so I don’t get stuck like that again.
@marionberry19@fluteling ouch! I'm sorry you're both dealing with these pains. Hopefully they go away for you both and you doctors can find some remedies!

@KFrob I’m not going to stand for this pressure any longer. I didn’t have it until way later with my son. I’m so tired of this “every pregnancy is different” crap being true.
@marionberry19 ugh, i had the pressure down there for what felt like more than half of my pregnancy last time around. And had none of it the first time so I was in for a rude awakening.

I’m really starting to feel like the 3rd trimester symptoms are creeping in the last couple of days. Heartburn, I can’t breath, trouble sleeping, moving around is getting harder, sore back and hips. I’m not ready!!!
@KFrob Some days I feel the same, especially when I can't sleep at night or have pressure down there that makes it hard to move around. It's tough to process that 2nd trimester is going by so quickly and we'll be in 3rd in a few short weeks. I feel cheated out of the whole 2nd tri blissful/energetic feeling.

I’m hitting the point in pregnancy where I’m just over it. Getting big enough that things are starting to get inconvenient. Things on the floor? They can stay. Clothes are uncomfortable. Stomach tightening. Over. It.
@bww_0331 I had change out of the outfit I had on yesterday 10 mins after I put it on. It was supposed to be “comfy”, leggings and a sweatshirt, but it felt so tight I was suffocating. There’s still too much time left to feel like this!
FTM and having lower back pain, but only on my right side. I went for a 3 mile walk yesterday and I feel like maybe I just overdid it because now my back is in so much pain. Any recommendations on how to get comfortable?
The heartburn is here to party (dammit). What is your favorite heartburn relief? I saw a limited edition of peppermint chewy Tums that I'm going to try to track down because I think peppermint will be better than fruity, but who knows.
I make hairy children Apparently I was the hairiest baby the nurse had ever seen when I was born.
@binxybaby I hate all heartburn relief options. I feel like they all leave a terrible taste in my mouth and make me thirsty which is awesome in the middle of the night when heart burn ramps up and I don’t want to get up to pee 700 times. But for initial flavor I’ve been liking the Alkaseltzer fruity chews.
Hi everyone! I apologize in advance, hope it’s okay that I dive right in and overshare. I had three sharp cramps this afternoon about ten minutes apart. Felt a bit like the type before getting bad diarrhea but I ran to the restroom every time and nothing. Could this be the result of taking Miralax yesterday and the night before? The past few weeks I’ve been full and feeling constipated so I decided to take some at night to relive symptoms. I did have a small bowel movement tonight thankfully, but I still feel full. Has anyone experienced sharp pains like this before from constipation? I left a message with my doctor but I haven’t felt the cramps before or since this afternoon so I get the feeling it’s related to my digestion.
@chelsmankowski personally I’m a big fan of chiropractic care during pregnancy. It helps me manage my lower back pain because my hips get all jacked up and hurt. Apart from that, do you have a foam roller? That helps me a ton too!
Tried to be productive today and went to Menards to get a few things for baby's nursery. Had horrible lower side abdomen cramping for a good 5-10 minutes. Found a $6,000 massage chair. Never leaving chair.
@KFrob yes, pretty much have that every time I over do it or towards the evenings when I move too much, pick up kids, bend down, etc etc. I also had lower pressure throughout the entire pregnancy last time, due to baby's position mostly.
@binxybaby I'm sorry about the cramping and hope it went away! The massage chair sounds heavenly!
