Baby is the size of a(n): Large Avocado, so I'm picturing an Aldi's or Sam's Club sized one

Upcoming Appointments: Nothing until 2/21, but forgot that I need to schedule bloodwork and the anatomy scan!
How are you feeling?: My headache from Thursday/Friday is gone, but now my BP is up a bit. Trying to make healthier choices this week.
Rants/Raves: I discovered over the weekend that Target has everything out of boxes and out on display, strollers, high chairs, car seats, bouncers/swings - everything! Will be going back with my husband at some point soon.
Questions: Feeling like we should be doing more to prepare so we aren't scrambling at the end, but also feeling like what can I be doing now. I did have fun walking through the baby aisles over the weekend.
GTKY- Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Pre/post pregnancy of course. While I love my Peloton, I would still rather drive a car most places. First, I don't trust other drivers normally, and second I can only sit in that saddle for so long, even pre pregnancy.

How are you feeling?: Pretty good! I honestly don’t think I have any real complaints atm, other than constipation.
Rants/Raves: I am so so so looking forward to this u/s!! I’ve had dreams every night about it!! Until then I have so much laundry to do, and fold. Ugh this endless, thankless, task….
Questions:
GTKY- Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Pre/post pregnancy of course. I think it depends why… like I would much rather go for a horseback ride than just go for a ride in the car. But for everyday travel, definitely a car. I need the heat and heated seats lol. Never ever a bike, hurts my knees too much.

Team: Found out the week before last (and wasn’t on the board last week) - it’s a girl! Not what I expected but so excited!
Upcoming Appointments: February 23
How are you feeling?: Pretty good! Definitely can tell I’m in/entering second trimester!
Rants/Raves: Two rants and a rave - 1) We need to get some work done to our house before baby arrives. I know we have a while, but it’s slow going and making me anxious. 2) My husband woke up in the middle of the night sick. Just no fun and I worry about him. I can’t imagine how much worse my worrying is going to be when I have a kiddo! Rave - My niece was born the day before we found out I was pregnant and I’m going to California next week to meet her! So excited to see my in laws, meet her, and get an escape from the cold weather.

How are you feeling?: Physically, a lot better. Mentally, a lot worse. Lots of new-found anxiety and bad dreams regarding this pregnancy
Rants/Raves: Bad dreams are making it hard to sleep at night, which makes for a very long work day. BUT my rave is that I can drink coffee again so hopefully that will help!

How are you feeling?: physically ok, tired today since I tossed and turned a lot last night. Mentally, super anxious until my NIPT results come in (hopefully this week)
Rants/Raves: We also have a TON of house projects to do including all new floors, interior paint, kitchen remodel…. ugh

How are you feeling?: pretty okay. The anxiety is cooling off now that I’ve felt baby a few times. Lots of headaches and night sweats. Ready to find out what I’m having.
Rants/Raves: mom is bringing me lunch. Girl Scout cookies are taking forever because of the weather. Trying to solve the car seat situation is proving to be a lot of stress. The end.

How are you feeling?: Meh. Better but not better. I went tubing Friday night, SO fun, I had the energy for it and didn't get nauseous. But the next day I was like... ultra hung over? I hate the first trimester.
Rants/Raves: I guess my rant is that Target only sells the Britax infant buckets as a travel system, but since I don't need a stroller I'm going to have to buy the new carseat somewhere else and forfeit the 20% off I would get from trading in the expired one. Hoping that will change by the next carseat trade in event.

How are you feeling?: good! Tired, bloated, and my boobs get those stabby pains, but the nausea is gone and that's huge.
Rants/Raves: My 3 year old has tons of medical appointments next week with her specialists and I'm excited to see them all. First time in person since covid started. Last time she saw anyone in person was her ophthalmologist in Jan 2020. Her team is out of state about 3.5 hours away. Next week she's seeing her: neurologist, pulmonologist, ophthalmologist, nutrition team, and wound care (for her gtube, to check the site and make sure it all looks good). I'm most excited for the neurologist to see her.

GTKY- Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Pre/post pregnancy of course. I love, love, love horses so I'd choose horse! But like, that's just for fun. I don't expect all my transportation needs to be done by horse. But if I had the option for one recreational activity out of these things, I'd choose a long horse ride.

How are you feeling?: I’m feeling better. Still have lots of aversions and a sour stomach in the afternoons.
Rants/Raves: My son is turning 3 this week!
Questions:
GTKY- Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Pre/post pregnancy of course. I don’t like driving, and really only learned a few years ago after moving from a city. I am not confident on a bike or horse. Not an option, but I’d choose walking. I love a long walk.

Upcoming Appointments: blood draw for progesterone next week, otherwise mid March.
How are you feeling?: I have been feeling better which started around 13 weeks and I was worried about the baby but the heart beat was great at 13w 6d so I am feeling more confident.
Rants/Raves: I have been telling my bosses and such so that has been fun. So far I have just been worried about the physical changes that are supposed to start in the 2nd trimester. So far I am not showing at all, but I am wondering how that is going to be. I also am sick of everything in my mind being about the baby its driving me crazy, and yes I know this is how it will be for the rest of my life.

Rants/Raves: Rave- Baby boy keeps hiding from the Doppler so I got to see him again on a bedside US which is soooo reassuring. He was upside down which was fun to see

Pre-pregnancy and pre the birth of DD I would pick bike, motorcycle to be exact. Now I’m loving my brand new car and my heated seats. I’ve never ridden a horse
Yes, I after walking at a brisk pace I tend to feel short of breath. I am assuming this is normal, but its my first baby so I don't know for sure.

Upcoming Appointments: tomorrow for "12" week testing, NT ultrasound. I'm hoping maybe the will be able to guess at gender since I'm 14 weeks.
How are you feeling?: I'm feeling ok. Every day is still different. Today I want to exercise so that's a good thing. I'm also tired though so many will nap while DD at preschool, then exercise after I pick her up, and then nap again. I work night shift tonight so gimme all the naps.
Rants/Raves: this will always be a thing but why do people assume you must always be 35 weeks pregnant based on your size and then gawk when you're not.
Raves: feeling better some days!

GTKY- Would you rather ride a bike, ride a horse, or drive a car? Pre/post pregnancy of course. I like bike riding, and I also enjoy riding horses but primarily I wouldn't want to do either as a means of transportation. I prefer the car and then just biking an an enjoyable hobby.

How are you feeling?: tired, sore, no energy and not sleeping well at night. Still can’t eat normal and have gotten sick twice this week. Started getting some energy this past week but overall still tired:
Rants/Raves: I wish I could get this lump in my throat feeling out. I also feel like I have a huge air bubble in my gut.
Questions: any advice on my above feelings or rants?
