Strange metal taste

I am just over 8 week pregnant and I’ve had this strange metal/tin taste in my mouth for about a week now and I find it so frustrating. Drinking water doesn’t make it go away. Nor does brushing my teeth. Eating helps
for a bit but I can’t eat all day! Has anyone else experienced this strange sensation?

    This would be best posted in either the symptoms thread or the "great big question" thread.  We try to avoid "one off" posts to keep the board from being cluttered.
    Current pregnancy -
    First BFP on 1/4/22.  Due date 9/13/22.

    Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.

    @fayehart- me! It’s so annoying. It usually comes around the same time as excessive saliva. It’s the worst.
