Trying to Get Pregnant

WTO Wednesday 1/19

**This is a thread that welcomes all regardless of where they are at in their TTC journeys. Please be mindful of topics that are discussed that could be hurtful to those going through tough times. Mention of children or pregnancies of others should have a TW (trigger warning) and be in a spoiler if possible, and only be mentioned if it is extremely pertinent to the conversation. • Month/Cycle: 15/13

    CD: 6

WAYDTGKU: the usual, plus letrozole and IUI if insurance comes through

R/R: First day of classes! Not loving getting up "early", but glad to have the structure back, and my classes this semester are going to be interesting. I might look for a random elective to add to my schedule since a class I was going to take fell through so my schedule is fairly light this semester.

Non-school related - I don't know if it's just bad luck or if it's covid related, but I'm currently on DAY TEN of an ebbing and flowing migraine and I'm siiiiick of it. I have chronic migraine, so usually the pain is more of a 3/10 than 8/10, but it's been hovering around 4 or 5 the last few days and WON'T LEAVE. I have a message in to my neuro to see if she can prescribe an injectable med I've used to interrupt marathon migraines in the past since I'm pretty sure I shouldn't use the one I have that expired a year and a half ago...hopefully she can just prescribe it without me needing to go in for an office visit and deal with that expense.

    CS/Q: not yet

  • @fantasyflyte Yay, for getting structure back but boo for the never-ending migraine! I hope your doc can get you something to help, it sounds terrible. (Also keeping my FX for your insurance still).

    Month/Cycle: 5/6

    CD: 8

    WAYDTGKU: BBT, OPKs, vitamins

R/R: I've been struggling to be on here regularly but figure sometimes is better than never. Rant - I crashed my bike this morning and have a swollen knee and elbow that I've been icing. It hurts! I'm fine, just swollen and bruised. Rave - had a dental checkup and everything looks good. As someone with terrible teeth I am always overjoyed at a pleasant, "All good, see you in six months" dental visit.

    CS/Q: Nope.
  • @fantasyflyte Yuck, hope you can get the medication that will help with that migraine. Any you considering a "just for fun" elective? If so, what are you thinking about taking?
@Paturkey Glad to see you whenever you want to pop in! Ugh about the bike crash. Hope the injuries aren't too bad!

    Month/Cycle: 5/5 AL

    CD: 7

    WAYDTGKU: vitamins, CoQ10, progesterone, OPKs

R/R: Covid is taking out people I work with left and right. I'm working from home today (for non-Covid reasons) and I am not looking forward to going back to the chaos tomorrow. We're shortening our hours temporarily because of staff shortages which I'm sure we're going to take a lot of flack for despite the fact that there is literally nothing we can do to help it. Sigh.

    CS/Q: Nope
  • @abjm0325 I looked to see if there were any random classes that fit into my schedule without making me be on campus longer, but there was nothing available, so I'm just going to keep it light.
@Paturkey ouch, that sounds painful! Glad you're mostly okay!
