    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Team blue!!

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Baby can fit in a mug today. Another fact DH hates because technically every day before today baby could fit in a mug too

Upcoming appointments: Next week is my 16w check up

How are you feeling?: I think my tiredness is finally going away? It's so hard to tell with how busy we are now with the robotics team's build season starting.

Rants/Raves: I posted our announcement on FB last week Thursday and got so many congrats. DH isn't on FB so I had to let him read through them all on my computer. What was super surprising was that someone I know (she's married to a guy I used to work with and I've only met her once) messaged me on FB to congratulate me and I ended up finding out she's due in August after experiencing a loss nearly 10 years ago, went through some infertility testing, and found out she has endo plus DOR and essentially pre-menopausal. She told me when she got her positive test that she was hoping my time would happen and she was so excited to find out we had finally found success too. I just really love hearing when people go through shit to get here and are finally looking towards their happy ending of a take home baby.

Questions: When will this damn snot go awaaaaaaaay??? Good thing I have a stash of tissues.

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? If I could help it - going to Disney World. Granted, the one time I went I was 12 or 13 so I was already out of the Disney childhood craze and it wasn't some magical wonder to me. But obviously I gotta take my future kids at least once. In all honestly though, I would never buy a fixer-upper or just a very outdated home. Our house is over 50 years old and the way things were done back then and/or how repairs have been made over the years is just bizarre at times. This house has been soooo much work since we bought it. I come from a family where the last 3 houses my parents owned were new builds with us as the first family to live in them so having to fix something or update decor/style is not something we ever had to do as I was growing up.

    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: boy!

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of:a pear, although last week was an orange and next week is an avocado and i feel like all 3 can vary greatly in size, so ?

Upcoming appointments: First week of Feb just for a check in and HR check and then scheduling anatomy US for 3 weeks after that

How are you feeling?: Overall continue to feel more human and even worked out a few days last week. Then my son brought home a stomach bug from school - he was sick all day Fri and I came down with it saturday. I still feel like I'm recovering a big today and I am EXHAUSTED

Rants/Raves: Rave - so glad that by some miracle my son's school has not been shut down at all.  We have to make a decision by next week on if we will re-enroll for next year and I'm pretty sure it's a yes - one because we have had a good experience, and 2 because it's pretty miraculous they haven't had to shut down at all and just had their first covid case a week ago.   Rant - my husband seems to still know very little about pregnancy and he just asked me what our due date was  yesterday.  Also the illness this weekend taught me that he had no idea what pedialyte was and also apparently children hate pedialyte so don't waste your money on it. The end

Questions: PAL moms - I suppose especially for those who got pregnant soon after their loss just wondering if anyone else has been thinking/struggling recently with the idea that the baby you are carrying now wouldn't exist if you hadn't lost your other baby?  I'm not even sure exactly what I'm asking, just noticed feeling this weird feeling and really letting the idea sink in recently that I'll always miss and wonder about the baby we lost, but this current babe wouldn't even have the chance of existing without the loss.

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Maybe similar to @inthewoods23 the house we just moved into is only 30ish years old but has the wonkiest wiring and so much to update.  the people that lived in it before pretty much just lived on the main level and so the upstairs and basement were not touched in like 30 years and there's been SO MUCH to do.  Our last house was a new build so I know we were spoiled there. On the flip side i LOVE the layout of our house and it is perfect for our family and so maybe all the updates will be worth it but right now i'm like, no more big house renos if we ever move out of this place, although i'm pretty sure i'm never moving again so I don't have to risk it  :p
  • @inthewoods23 If you have pregnancy rhinitis, it probably won't. But the second baby has exited your body that breath will feel amazing!! Because of your nose, not the baby

    Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 15+4, Due July 7th

    FTM/STM/STM+: TTM

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Should be team blue! I'm tempted to go get another ultrasound but I'm trying to wait for the anatomy scan

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Baby is practicing inhaling and exhaling!

    Upcoming appointments: 1/20

How are you feeling?: That depends on the day and the hour. On Friday I felt like garbage. And on Saturday I may as well have been back in first trimester. But today I'm fine. I have pregnancy rhinitis again, so I have near constant sinus pressure/headache and my nose is stuffy and running and I'm sneezing a ton. Everyone looks at me like I'm the walking plague and I'm just really hoping no one that I deliver for (door dash, etc.) gets themselves in a tizzy. My TMJ is also acting up so that's a double whammy for the headaches. I just feel like a sweaty achey mess every single morning. I'm sick of still having all this nausea/gagging to deal with and I'm sick of not having the energy to get out of bed. But I'm even more sick of laying in bed all day and I'm bored with it. But if I don't spend most of the day resting, I just feel worse! It's making me really mentally not ok.

    Rants/Raves:
Rant: I can't freaking drink chamomile tea EITHER!? GAH. I had such a bad headache on Sunday and I made a cup not even thinking about it. Halfway through drinking, I realized I should probably check and NOPE. I swear everything that helps my head is off limits!!! It helped the headache so much.

    Questions:

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? This isn't very lighthearted but... I will never rent/buy a home and consider it temporary again. When we moved into this apartment, we were not supposed to be here longer than a year, MAYBE two. So due to lots of factors, we settled hard. And now it's been four years. Thanks housing market! Anyways... it's been miserable. I don't care if its only supposed to be two weeks. You never know what's going to happen and I am never settling in housing again.

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: team green, but the results are back from my NIPT test and H wants to look.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: plums

Upcoming appointments: longest stretch between appts now… I go in on 2/7 and will have ultrasounds every 2 weeks then

How are you feeling?: tiiiiiired. Will this fatigue go away before we have two newborns?!

Rants/Raves: we told our families this weekend and it feels good to let everyone know. I’m only on IG for mom and fitness so I don’t think we will “announce” there.

    questions: so many regarding multiples.

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Drive through the night to an event then drive back the next day. It took me 3 days to recover.

    BFP #1: 4/2/12 -- DD born 12/15/12. BFP #2: 4/1/14 -- CP. BFP #3: 4/28/14 -- EDD 1/10/15

    Jan 15  NOV siggy challenge:

  • @zinnia19 Right?! I was like, i just can’t even right now with you.  I think it’s also harder because he hasn’t been allowed for Any appointments, so that might help him keep better track - he can video chat in but has kept declining so I don’t know, but like, put some more effort into figuring this out dude, I’m working my butt off over here keeping up with everything and growing the human, you could at least keep track of their due date  :p  Hope your hubby starts sharing the announcement on his own too!

@sunshineandlemons a nurse friend told me to add it to some apple juice and he took a sip of that . He didn’t spit it out but refused to drink anymore.  Now i know! I have an electrolyte drink i use for running/fitness stuff and i think it’s a nice taste and I don’t know why i didn’t just try that - i was just trying to follow dr orders for once!
Yeah, it’s such a weird realization, a MMC for me too and then getting pregnant a couple of months later. I still don’t even know how to describe it

@tuxielove93  certainly check with your OB, but from what i understand, chamomile tea is safe in pregnancy as long as you don’t drink large amounts

  • @runnergirl2018 Well now I just hate everything 🤣 I’m gonna ask my midwife at my apt. It would be extremely helpful if I could have even just a cup a day

  • @tuxielove93 I feel like that sums up how I feel about pregnancy (even though I’m thankful to be able to be pregnant and hopefully bring this little babe home) but I pretty much hate everything right now 🤣🤣
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 4th July / 16 weeks

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Just waiting for our scan to find out

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: A giant pickle

Upcoming appointments: Midwife on Thursday, can't wait to see her again

How are you feeling?: Literally depends at the moment, sometimes so much energy and I feel fine, the next I just want to sleep and feel like crap. My husband told me I was doing such a good job this morning and I almost cried hahaha My hips have been starting to ache though especially at night so ordering a pregnancy pillow off of amazon

Rants/Raves: Back to work tonight which is both, I'm trying to be more positive about going to work and seeing my friends as I've had a few weeks off due to my ankle but it's just such a hard job (Healthcare) and I really don't have the energy at the minute. Covid is an extra worry as well bc currently even if we have an outbreak in the building I'm not protected to stay at home until I'm 26 weeks along.

    Questions:

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? I have no idea probably never go clubbing again, I would so much rather just stay in and have my friends over for drinks
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 7/26 or 13w0d

    FTM/STM/STM+: STM + 1 bogo

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: The results from the NIPS are pointing towards 2 girls! There is at least one in there, waiting for AS to confirm.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Lemon. There are 2 lemons inside of me right now....

Upcoming appointments: I had a telehealth check up yesterday that was uneventful. They scheduled me for in person for about 3 weeks from now. Also got the referral for the high risk docs so we set up our anatomy scan and "intake" appointment with them for March 4th! (Which seems like lightyears away).

How are you feeling?: So. Damn. Tired. I don't remember being this tired ever in my life. I also am not a fan of the feeling of my uterus expanding, it creeps me out haha.

Rants/Raves: Rant: Took out dog out to play in the 10 inches of snow we got yesterday, she likes us to throw it up and she catches it. Well she must have landed wrong because she now cannot put pressure on her back left leg and is, essentially, operating as a legged dog right now (so sad to watch). I had to bring her to the vet (which the plow guy didn't come so MH had to leave work, get DS and come home so I could use the Jeep vs. my sedan) yesterday afternoon. They didn't find anything alarming so they sent her home with pain meds and for us to watch till Friday. This morning she seems worse 😭. Not only are we worried about our girl, but this is an expense we did not plan on having and x-rays and potential surgery are not cheap, ugh!
Rave: I'm so thankful I get to work from home. Leggings and a sweater, no need to shovel out my car etc. etc. Not to mention how uncomfortable I'd be in an office KO with twins.

Questions: I posted this in the car seat thread but, anyone with 3 car seats - what does your set up look like for third row vehicles? I don't know if the 5yo should take the third row or if the babies should.

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? I will absolutely never ever be pregnant again! I plan to have my tubes tied if, and only if, I have a c-section. I want MH to get a vasectomy but I'm scared we will be in the minority of it failing haha. He's getting it either way but I want double reassurance.
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 13w2d

    FTM/STM/STM+: 4TM

    Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: green

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: matchbox car

Upcoming appointments: sometime in early February

How are you feeling?: pretty good. I got my booster on Sunday though and that always makes me feel hungover for like 2 days.

Rants/Raves: my indigestion has calmed down a lot thankfully!

    Questions:

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Be pregnant! 4 kids is definitely my limit.
  • Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 7-5 / 16 wks

    FTM/STM/STM+: FTM

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Finding Out at 20 wk anatomy scan

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: an avocado 🥑

Upcoming appointments: Jan 27th for a 4 wk check and quad test

How are you feeling?: A lot better recently. Just struggling with getting comfortable even with the pregnancy pillow!

Rants/Raves: I'm considered underweight for pregnancy and still haven't gained any weight even though I look like I've gotten bigger and been eating constantly. Concerned I'm not going to gain enough to be a healthy pregnancy weight.

    Questions:

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Hopefully move! I hate moving with a passion!
  • @sjb2215 thank goodness for nearby family! Covid pretty much solidifies that I will never want to be not near family should we need it. DH just told me there's a slight chance of his job relocating to KY and I'm like noooo it better not!

@runnergirl2018 right like is it a large or small avocado?? I need to see all these fruits side by side! Can I give YH a slap? Don't know the due date?? Come on!! As for your question, it is something I've thought about before. I might have actually been thinking about it before we conceived this time and my situation is different in that we took a full year after our one loss to conceive this one. It's a very strange thought/feeling to have. It's like having information that you wish no one had told you because it just makes you question everything. We weren't far enough along last time to be able to find out the sex and I wonder sometimes whether or not I would like to have known what we were having then. I have the same weird feelings with our frozen embryos that we're just sitting on. We may give them up for embryo adoption at some point but the thought of our own fully biological children out there being taken care of and loved by another couple is just such a strange thought.

@tuxielove93 I have a dentist appointment later today and of course they ask you the covid questions ahead of time and I'm like... well technically my nose is runny but I know it's not covid, it's pregnancy rhinitis, but is everybody going to look at me funny?? :# You make a really good point with the apartment! My preference for moving out of DH's parent's house was to get an apartment instead of a house right away because we didn't need a whole house 6 years ago and I hate cleaning so having as little space as possible to clean is feasible to me. Honestly we could have gotten away with being in an apartment all these years since we struggled conceiving but oh man if we were trying to find a house now knowing we're expecting... that would have been a nightmare! DH specifically wanted a house in our desired school district and a house that was large enough for a couple kids so we'd never get to the point of "we need a bigger house we can't fit in here anymore, it's cramped". Finally going to get to put it all to good use!

@zinnia19 oh that sounds like my DH with announcing to people! He was basically asking me to announce it to his family and I'm excuse me I'm tired of talking how about YOU tell your family.

@letsgox oof that's a rough drive! I have family about 2 hours away by car and we've on a couple of occasions have driven down the 2 hours, stayed for whatever event was happening (which was probably 4 hours max) and then driven home. Brutal.

@sunshineandlemons today for me it says baby is as big as a maple leaf. We have maple trees in our yard and those leaves seem like the size of grapefruits!! Is this some baby maple tree they're thinking of. Goodness lol.

@rosegoldg I was never interested in clubbing. Maybe if I was single in my 20s? Idk... going to bars in college was never appealing to me either. Like you say, I'd rather have drinks at home! So much cheaper

@jellie603 I hope your pup is okay!!

@novaghost99 if you're concerned about not gaining weight I would talk to your doctor. I'm sure they will have some tips/ideas on what you can eat to help with proper weight gain or refer you to a dietician.

  • @inthewoods23 i almost slapped him myself.  This fertility/pregnancy thing is such a trip and there are so many pieces that are just so unexpected and you never realize you might have to think through. and there is no 1 "right decision".   our MMC was on the early side (d&c at 11wks) and even though it took WEEKS for them to finally diagnose, it was looking like it for a while so we never did NIPT , but i DID opt to do chromosome testing afterwards and for me it was a good decision even though I have no idea how much it actually cost us. It helped me to know it was a baby boy and that there was a reason that there was nothing I could do about. But also weird to think that instead of 15wks I would be 32wks right now.  I think I'm going to plan a little time off work around the previous due date because I"m sure my head will be all sorts of funky.  I hope you find a decision you feel good about with your other embryos <3
  • Ill add to the pile: We are quarantined from an exposure at daycare on friday. No symptoms and test tomorrow... fingers crossed!

How are you feeling?: Pretty dang good except for after sleeping 8 hours VERY consistently (trying very very hard to keep that a priority) by 5PM I am still exhausted.

Rants/Raves: I guess i will rave about my extraordinarily understanding boss and team who will allow me to get through the next week of work with an 18 month old at home. I know i am lucky to have that opportunity.

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Probably skiing, ill meet you at the lodge with some hot chocolate but i really dont feel the need to strap things to my feet to make me go fast down a mountain in the cold again.

  • @sjb2215 The covid exposures at daycare have been soooo overwhelming lately. I hope you guys stay healthy. Thank god for family helping out!

@inthewoods23 I’m so happy you finally announced! It’s the best feeling to finally be out about it. And that’s just the cherry on top to find out about other people’s success. I have no desire to go to Disney world either. But I agree, I would love to see the light in DS eyes if we do ever take him.

@runnergirl2018 I’m so sorry you got hit by the stomach bug too!! It has been the absolute worst! Tip for children that hate Pedialyte, we have always just done Gatorade. But for children make sure to dilute it with half water. Something about the amount of electrolytes in Gatorade being the correct amount for adults but not for tiny humans.

@tuxielove93 It sounds like you’re just a tea drinker, but have you thought of trying a cup of coffee instead? I know that’s helped me tremendously with energy and headaches in my previous pregnancy. I haven’t gotten to that point in this pregnancy yet, but I’m sure I will. I’m sorry you’re still feeling so crummy.

@zinnia19 Yay for finally getting your NIPT done on Friday. I got mine done last week and the time has been passing sooooooooooo slowly waiting for the results! And yay for getting to work from home. If I actually had a job that I could do from home, I wonder if I would like it lol.

@letsgox Hi due date twin! Are you going to let YH look without you? Or will you guys look together? I don’t think I could stand MH knowing while I didn’t. It would kill me lol.

@sunshineandlemons Yay for the Vegas trip in June! That’s exciting! Sorry for the daycare exposure. Our daycare recently changed to no quarantine necessary after an exposure, regardless of vaccination status (it was actually recommended statewide). It’s a little confusing how that’s allowed. Like, what’s changed? But how the daycare explained it was like, clearly quarantining isn’t actually stopping the spread, and it’s been extremely stressful on parents and staff… so F it. Even with all the classroom closures (before they changed their rules) we had over 25 cases pop up in 1 week at the center. It is just spreading like wildfire!

@rosegoldg Staying home and having friends over for drinks sounds 10x better than going clubbing! Definitely agree. I’m sorry you’re not looking forward to going back to work. I hope you’re able to take it easy however much you can.

@jellie603 I’m so sorry to hear about your dog. Something similar happened to our dog (she was chasing after a squirrel). She ended up tearing her ACL (or whatever the doggie equivalent is). She had it surgically repaired but was back to herself within a month or so. The unexpected expense sucks, but hopefully she heals up on her own and wont need surgery.

@lilirunning34 Yay for booster! But I’m sorry you’re not feeling the best afterwards.

@novaghost99 Have you talked to your doctor about your weight concerns? I think at this point, as long as you’re not losing weight, you should be fine. But again, I would still talk to your doctor.

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Finding out, hopefully this week!

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Small laduree macaron

Upcoming appointments: In about a month. We had our first OB appointment last week. I found out that we can be induced at 39w if we want to because I “make big babies” lol. So we’re considering that. NT scan looked great. Now I’m just waiting on NIPT results to come back, hopefully in the next couple days.

How are you feeling?: Much better than I was this weekend!

Rants/Raves: Our house got hit by the stomach bug this weekend. I was absolutely useless Friday night and all day Saturday. I woke up on Sunday feeling like a brand new woman lol. I did end up over doing it though and got lightheaded a bunch of times. By the end of the day I was feeling like crap again. Then DS threw up in the middle of the night last night. So we spent a good half hour cleaning that mess up, which included a bath. Of course this led to DS being awake from 11:30pm to 3:30am, thinking it was party time. I turned off my alarm and decided to sleep in this morning instead of going to work. Thank god I have an understanding boss and a flexible schedule!

    Questions:

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Oh man. This is hard. I’m usually up for just about anything and there’s nothing I’ve done that I’ve truly regretted. I know I will never go bungie jumping. But that’s more because of concerns for my health condition. But also, hanging upside down for that long doesn’t sound fun either lol.

  • @novaghost99 Were you considered underweight before getting pregnant? Just seems a little early for your doctor to be concerned since you aren't too far into the 2nd trimester. And they don't expect much, if any weight gain in the first tri. I have some similar concerns myself since I've always been the same weight (my BMI is "normal"). Also, the food I eat tends to be lower calorie/lower fat because I eat vegan, mostly whole foods. I did mention it to my midwife and she suggested upping my fat intake. So for me that would be nuts, avocados, etc. Maybe something to ask your doctor or a nutritionist about. But I'm going to just wait and see how it goes. My midwife did say that they don't obsess over weight gain and its more important that you are eating well and exercising.
  • @inthewoods23 lol your H sounds like mine, he’s always pointing out stuff like that

@runnergirl2018 my DD is my rainbow baby, I had an early loss and D&C in December 2018, and was KO with DD in July 2019 (when first pregnancy was originally due) and she was born in April 2020. I never thought much of it after I recovered from the initial loss, but it’s freaking me out that my due date with this new LO is extremely close to my first pregnancy that resulted in a loss, plus we found out about our pregnancy with DD on that date in 2019. Fate is weird, life is crazy.

@tuxielove93 I’m dealing with some TMJ and related headaches too which I’ve never had in my life! So uncomfortable and annoying.

@rosegoldg plus 1 for drinks with friends at home. I also prefer to host so I don’t have to drive anywhere!

    Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 13w + 6d, 7/20

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: waiting for that anatomy scan!

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: can fit on a can of tuna (like it always has!)

Upcoming appointments: had one today! Took her a minute to find it, but good healthy heart rate in the 150s. ❤️ Now I get to tell my boss tomorrow lol,

How are you feeling?: my blood sugar always feels so low, I can never eat or drink enough. Going try drinking Gatorade throughout the day and see if that helps.

Rants/Raves: had a fun time with a couple of friends over the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Pretty overwhelmed at work right now unfortunately.

    Questions:

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? @cmhme said mine, definitely never ever skiing again, why would I pay that much money to be cold and fear for my life? This is also my last pregnancy we are definitely done at two. Neither of us wants to be outnumbered lol.
  • @LJMoon6 I don’t even drink caffeinated tea unless I radically misunderstand herbal teas. It’s not an avoidance thing, I just don’t like the taste. Same with coffee. I only like coffee in baked goods and ice cream. But I’m also not convinced that would help my headaches anyways?? I drink the chamomile because the heat and herb itself relax my TMJ muscles. My headaches are part TMJ part sinus pressure. Idk if caffeine would fix it. I’m definitely gonna ask my midwife on Thursday though.

  • @runnergirl2018 I think that's a great idea to take some time off your previous due date as a way of honoring your last pregnancy

@LJMoon6 I feel a lot less weird now that a couple days have passed since announcing. I happen to have a dentist appointment today and they asked me to fill out any new medical info so that was fun to be like "does expecting a baby count?" 😁

    @creativesoul63 happy birthday!

How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Still tired all the time but hopefully that will be gone soon.

    Rants/Raves: None this week

    Questions: None

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Hmmm… Sushi. Tried it once and never again. Nooooope. Lol

  • @inthewoods23, glad your announcement went well!!  It's so great when people share their battles and ultimate successes with you.

@zinnia19, that would annoy me too, but then I also don't like being the focus of attention!  Sort of on the flip side, H was irritating me because he can't keep a secret to save his life and ended up sharing with a couple of people sooner than I was comfortable with.

@novaghost99, I also gained little to no weight early on in my last pregnancy (and have so far lost 3 lbs this pregnancy due to food aversions/nausea).  Your care team will let you know if they have any concerns!  Last time around my OB suggested I start eating more high fat foods (full fat yogurt, nuts, etc.), but that wasn't until later in 2nd tri.  This time around, my OB hasn't even mentioned any concerns this soon.  Not gaining a lot in 1st tri isn't unusual, and as long as your care provider isn't concerned you should be good to go.

@tuxielove93, probably not helpful for TMJ/sinus pressure headaches, but I talked to my OB about my headaches this week and she suggested adding in magnesium supplements (400 mg once or 2x per day).  Apparently, through pre-eclampsia treatment, they discovered that magnesium can actually help prevent headaches and neurologists are now using it as a treatment for migraines.

Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of:  fit in a mug thing.

Upcoming appointments:  just had one on Mon, so next one isn't until mod-Feb now.

How are you feeling?:  Eh.  Symptoms seem to be slowly getting better, so that's good.

Rants/Raves:  DS and I seem to have gotten into the swing of our new morning routine, so that's great (and I probably just jinxed myself).  On the flip side, daycare sent out a new, even more stringent illness policy today.  While I understand the need and appreciate the care they are taking, it's also just an "ugh."

    Questions:  none at the moment.

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again?  Get another piercing.  I have no regrets for any of the ones I already have (mostly ears. - I never did anything crazy) and the only one that I've taken out was my navel from my pregnancy with DS, but it's definitely something I feel like I've outgrown at this point.  H would probably love it if I'd get rid of some of my ear piercings, but I'm 99% sure none of them would close now anyway.
  • @zwink1 piercings are a good one! i agree i dont regret any that i got but i will also not be doing that again!

Upcoming appointments: I have my first “official” appointment with my OB since the other office referred me on Tuesday the 25th.

How are you feeling?: ready for the second trimester fun to kick in, the first trimester symptoms are holding out as long as they possibly can.

    Rants/Raves:

    Questions:

GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again?

going jet skiing, I went on one in key west and it was such an awful experience I will never do it again. I couldn’t figure out how to drive it properly, kept getting behind in our tour and I was gripping the handle bars so tight it was making my hands go numb(thanks carpel tunnel). I will never go on one again lol.
  • @inthewoods23 I am with you, DH always talks about wanting a house with some projects but you never know what’s hiding in those walls. I’d rather not lol.

@runnergirl2018 I’ve never thought about it that way before about this baby not existing if not for the loss but I have thought about how I’ll always wonder who that baby would’ve been.

@zwink1 I am with you, I had my nose pierced two different times and hated it both times. I kept accidentally catching it on things so it never even healed fully either time. I also had my belly button pierced when I was 16 and took it out when I got pregnant with DD at 19 and oddly the hole never fully healed on the outside or it is just stretched weird.

@tuxielove93 I completely agree, we moved into an apartment one time and ended up being there way longer than expected and it was a terrible experience. The housing market everywhere I assume is bad but I live on the coast and people are constantly moving here making it even worse.

@cmhme I have never and will never go skiing, I know I am not coordinated enough and I hate being cold so I would just be miserable the whole time. I can get down with some snow tubing though.
  • @bearsandbeets7 in 2017 when we moved here the median home price was 245k. It is now over 450k. Just saw one site when I went to check again saying 485k.
