Rant: I can't freaking drink chamomile tea EITHER!? GAH. I had such a bad headache on Sunday and I made a cup not even thinking about it. Halfway through drinking, I realized I should probably check and NOPE. I swear everything that helps my head is off limits!!! It helped the headache so much.

Rant: is that whenever we have announced our pregnancy my husband will lead into it but then put me on the spot to actually say it. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to announce it, but it's every single time! He's like "well, it seems like you should be the one to share it!". And I'm like, "it's your baby too!". I did talk to him about so hopefully that is solved.
Rave: I got to work from home today for the first time in my new job, since there was a snowstorm here. It was really nice!
A high ropes course! I was forced to do it for a team-building exercise at a job once, years ago. I am terrified of heights and hated it.
questions: so many regarding multiples.

Jan 15 NOV siggy challenge:
@runnergirl2018 pedialyte is definitely an intense flavor. I water it down for my kids but that probably defeats the purpose.
@inthewoods23 Your husband and I have the same frustration. The other day it said my baby could fit on a post it note. It could always fit on a dang post it note!!!
@tuxielove93 That’s an interesting fact about baby. It’s amazing how early everything starts developing.
@zinnia19 glad your nausea is going away!
Estimated Due Date/Weeks + Days: 7/19 I’m 13w6d
Rant- my kids had a daycare exposure so they’re home with us this week.
@runnergirl2018 I hadn’t though of that, but that’s absolutely the case for us. If I wouldn’t have had a MMC, we wouldn’t have this baby.
@sunshineandlemons a nurse friend told me to add it to some apple juice and he took a sip of that . He didn’t spit it out but refused to drink anymore. Now i know! I have an electrolyte drink i use for running/fitness stuff and i think it’s a nice taste and I don’t know why i didn’t just try that - i was just trying to follow dr orders for once!
Yeah, it’s such a weird realization, a MMC for me too and then getting pregnant a couple of months later. I still don’t even know how to describe it
@tuxielove93 certainly check with your OB, but from what i understand, chamomile tea is safe in pregnancy as long as you don’t drink large amounts

Rave: I'm so thankful I get to work from home. Leggings and a sweater, no need to shovel out my car etc. etc. Not to mention how uncomfortable I'd be in an office KO with twins.
@runnergirl2018 right like is it a large or small avocado?? I need to see all these fruits side by side! Can I give YH a slap? Don't know the due date?? Come on!! As for your question, it is something I've thought about before. I might have actually been thinking about it before we conceived this time and my situation is different in that we took a full year after our one loss to conceive this one. It's a very strange thought/feeling to have. It's like having information that you wish no one had told you because it just makes you question everything. We weren't far enough along last time to be able to find out the sex and I wonder sometimes whether or not I would like to have known what we were having then. I have the same weird feelings with our frozen embryos that we're just sitting on. We may give them up for embryo adoption at some point but the thought of our own fully biological children out there being taken care of and loved by another couple is just such a strange thought.
@tuxielove93 I have a dentist appointment later today and of course they ask you the covid questions ahead of time and I'm like... well technically my nose is runny but I know it's not covid, it's pregnancy rhinitis, but is everybody going to look at me funny??
@zinnia19 oh that sounds like my DH with announcing to people! He was basically asking me to announce it to his family and I'm excuse me I'm tired of talking how about YOU tell your family.
@letsgox oof that's a rough drive! I have family about 2 hours away by car and we've on a couple of occasions have driven down the 2 hours, stayed for whatever event was happening (which was probably 4 hours max) and then driven home. Brutal.
@sunshineandlemons today for me it says baby is as big as a maple leaf. We have maple trees in our yard and those leaves seem like the size of grapefruits!! Is this some baby maple tree they're thinking of. Goodness lol.
@rosegoldg I was never interested in clubbing. Maybe if I was single in my 20s? Idk... going to bars in college was never appealing to me either. Like you say, I'd rather have drinks at home! So much cheaper
@jellie603 I hope your pup is okay!!
@novaghost99 if you're concerned about not gaining weight I would talk to your doctor. I'm sure they will have some tips/ideas on what you can eat to help with proper weight gain or refer you to a dietician.

@sjb2215 The covid exposures at daycare have been soooo overwhelming lately. I hope you guys stay healthy. Thank god for family helping out!
@inthewoods23 I’m so happy you finally announced! It’s the best feeling to finally be out about it. And that’s just the cherry on top to find out about other people’s success. I have no desire to go to Disney world either. But I agree, I would love to see the light in DS eyes if we do ever take him.
@runnergirl2018 I’m so sorry you got hit by the stomach bug too!! It has been the absolute worst! Tip for children that hate Pedialyte, we have always just done Gatorade. But for children make sure to dilute it with half water. Something about the amount of electrolytes in Gatorade being the correct amount for adults but not for tiny humans.
@tuxielove93 It sounds like you’re just a tea drinker, but have you thought of trying a cup of coffee instead? I know that’s helped me tremendously with energy and headaches in my previous pregnancy. I haven’t gotten to that point in this pregnancy yet, but I’m sure I will. I’m sorry you’re still feeling so crummy.
@zinnia19 Yay for finally getting your NIPT done on Friday. I got mine done last week and the time has been passing sooooooooooo slowly waiting for the results! And yay for getting to work from home. If I actually had a job that I could do from home, I wonder if I would like it lol.
@letsgox Hi due date twin! Are you going to let YH look without you? Or will you guys look together? I don’t think I could stand MH knowing while I didn’t. It would kill me lol.
@sunshineandlemons Yay for the Vegas trip in June! That’s exciting! Sorry for the daycare exposure. Our daycare recently changed to no quarantine necessary after an exposure, regardless of vaccination status (it was actually recommended statewide). It’s a little confusing how that’s allowed. Like, what’s changed? But how the daycare explained it was like, clearly quarantining isn’t actually stopping the spread, and it’s been extremely stressful on parents and staff… so F it. Even with all the classroom closures (before they changed their rules) we had over 25 cases pop up in 1 week at the center. It is just spreading like wildfire!
@rosegoldg Staying home and having friends over for drinks sounds 10x better than going clubbing! Definitely agree. I’m sorry you’re not looking forward to going back to work. I hope you’re able to take it easy however much you can.
@jellie603 I’m so sorry to hear about your dog. Something similar happened to our dog (she was chasing after a squirrel). She ended up tearing her ACL (or whatever the doggie equivalent is). She had it surgically repaired but was back to herself within a month or so. The unexpected expense sucks, but hopefully she heals up on her own and wont need surgery.
@lilirunning34 Yay for booster! But I’m sorry you’re not feeling the best afterwards.
@novaghost99 Have you talked to your doctor about your weight concerns? I think at this point, as long as you’re not losing weight, you should be fine. But again, I would still talk to your doctor.

Team Green/Pink/Blue/Finding Out: Finding out, hopefully this week!
Interesting Baby Fact/Baby is the size of: Small laduree macaron
Upcoming appointments: In about a month. We had our first OB appointment last week. I found out that we can be induced at 39w if we want to because I “make big babies” lol. So we’re considering that. NT scan looked great. Now I’m just waiting on NIPT results to come back, hopefully in the next couple days.
How are you feeling?: Much better than I was this weekend!
Rants/Raves: Our house got hit by the stomach bug this weekend. I was absolutely useless Friday night and all day Saturday. I woke up on Sunday feeling like a brand new woman lol. I did end up over doing it though and got lightheaded a bunch of times. By the end of the day I was feeling like crap again. Then DS threw up in the middle of the night last night. So we spent a good half hour cleaning that mess up, which included a bath. Of course this led to DS being awake from 11:30pm to 3:30am, thinking it was party time. I turned off my alarm and decided to sleep in this morning instead of going to work. Thank god I have an understanding boss and a flexible schedule!
Questions:
GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Oh man. This is hard. I’m usually up for just about anything and there’s nothing I’ve done that I’ve truly regretted. I know I will never go bungie jumping. But that’s more because of concerns for my health condition. But also, hanging upside down for that long doesn’t sound fun either lol.

@runnergirl2018 my DD is my rainbow baby, I had an early loss and D&C in December 2018, and was KO with DD in July 2019 (when first pregnancy was originally due) and she was born in April 2020. I never thought much of it after I recovered from the initial loss, but it’s freaking me out that my due date with this new LO is extremely close to my first pregnancy that resulted in a loss, plus we found out about our pregnancy with DD on that date in 2019. Fate is weird, life is crazy.
@rosegoldg plus 1 for drinks with friends at home. I also prefer to host so I don’t have to drive anywhere!

Upcoming appointments: Thursday. Was supposed to be today but snow and ice messed it up.
How are you feeling?: Pretty good. Still tired all the time but hopefully that will be gone soon.
Rants/Raves: None this week
Questions: None
GTKY: Anti bucket list - what's something you'll never do again? Hmmm… Sushi. Tried it once and never again. Nooooope. Lol
@zinnia19, that would annoy me too, but then I also don't like being the focus of attention! Sort of on the flip side, H was irritating me because he can't keep a secret to save his life and ended up sharing with a couple of people sooner than I was comfortable with.
@novaghost99, I also gained little to no weight early on in my last pregnancy (and have so far lost 3 lbs this pregnancy due to food aversions/nausea). Your care team will let you know if they have any concerns! Last time around my OB suggested I start eating more high fat foods (full fat yogurt, nuts, etc.), but that wasn't until later in 2nd tri. This time around, my OB hasn't even mentioned any concerns this soon. Not gaining a lot in 1st tri isn't unusual, and as long as your care provider isn't concerned you should be good to go.
@tuxielove93, probably not helpful for TMJ/sinus pressure headaches, but I talked to my OB about my headaches this week and she suggested adding in magnesium supplements (400 mg once or 2x per day). Apparently, through pre-eclampsia treatment, they discovered that magnesium can actually help prevent headaches and neurologists are now using it as a treatment for migraines.

going jet skiing, I went on one in key west and it was such an awful experience I will never do it again. I couldn’t figure out how to drive it properly, kept getting behind in our tour and I was gripping the handle bars so tight it was making my hands go numb(thanks carpel tunnel). I will never go on one again lol.
@runnergirl2018 I’ve never thought about it that way before about this baby not existing if not for the loss but I have thought about how I’ll always wonder who that baby would’ve been.
