Happy Friday ladies! Let’s use this space for accountability and encouraging ourselves and others to stay or get fit during this long 9 months!

What are your fitness goals for this week?

Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel?

  • What are your fitness goals for this week?
    I was going to say "go for a walk," but I don't think I'm there yet with the nausea. So a goal for this week that I think I can actually achieve is doing a floor yoga routine on three days.

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel?
    I did! I found a first trimester prenatal yoga video where she didn't get up off the floor, and I was able to do that on Wednesday and it felt so good! I'm happy that I'm able to start moving my body again even if nausea prevents me from staying on my feet.

    If you could get a workout with anyone in the whole world (real life, celebrity, fictional character, alive or dead, I mean anyone) who would it be? 
    My friend Paula who lives in LA and I haven't seen in four years. She introduced me to the boxing gym about eight years ago and it would be really fun to meet up with her in some city and do the boxing gym together.
  • What are your fitness goals for this week?
    I'm headed to Chicago this weekend and you bet I'm going to have my Apple Watch fitness going to record all those walks through the city! I would love to start working out more, but mornings are out now because that's when I'm the most nauseous. After school/work, I'm just exhausted. 

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel?
    I did!! I got one in!! WOO HOO! I did a strength work out for upper body and it felt good to get my heart rate a little elevated and have sore arms afterwards. I'm lifting a little lighter right now, but hope to get back to normal once I feel more comfortable with working out, probably in the second tri.

    If you could get a workout with anyone in the whole world (real life, celebrity, fictional character, alive or dead, I mean anyone) who would it be? 
    What an interesting question! I'm a big Office fan and I would LOVE to participate in "Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Fun Run Pro Am Race for the Cure" with the cast! Hopefully it's just a 5K and not a 5,000 Miler. ;)

    What are your fitness goals for this week? Trying to continue adding a little intensity back into my routine after keeping things very light since my BFP. 

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel? 2 low impact resistance days (upper and lower body), 2 rides on the Peloton, a lunchtime walk, and a full rest day Wednesday. Need to get some yoga this weekend. As my nausea is really ramping up this week I find I’m getting a little pukey feeling after I work too hard, so still keeping things pretty moderate. 

    If you could get a workout with anyone in the whole world (real life, celebrity, fictional character, alive or dead, I mean anyone) who would it be? I would love to get a long run with my Dad. He can’t run anymore due to some long suffering back problems, and I miss running with him so much. We used to run marathons together and he’s my all time favorite running partner ❤️

    Getting 20-30 mins of cardio in each day via either a walk or peloton ride and 2 strength focused workouts

    Did you get any workouts in this week?

    What type, and how did you feel? I actually had done very little except for walking since my transfer on 11/30 and now that I’m 9 weeks I am feeling like getting back into it. I just hopped back on the bike today and did a beginner ride and it felt great! 

    If you could get a workout with anyone in the whole world (real life, celebrity, fictional character, alive or dead, I mean anyone) who would it be? 

    My sister. She lives far away but she’s been my workout buddy for the better part of my life. 
  • At the moment just to walk from the couch to the kitchen/bathroom and to bed. I want to walk everyday or do an indoor exercise 3+ days a week after the nausea goes away!😅 We’re taking a baby moon to Hawaii in March and so I hope to get some extra swimming and beach walks then!🥰🌴
  • @brittanynmorris I ate more fettuccine alfredo and drank less water than I have in my entire life.

    What are your fitness goals for this week? To get back to a consistent schedule. Fatigue is continuing to kick my butt. I usually work out in the morning, and it's been way too easy to just go back to bed. This was probably the same goal I had last week, so let's try it again!

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel? I got in a few runs. They feel great at the time, but I'm exhausted after.

    If you could get a workout with anyone in the whole world (real life, celebrity, fictional character, alive or dead, I mean anyone) who would it be? I'd love to get in a big workout with some of my high school and college teammates. Mindy Kaling can come too.

    I'd like to get in at least 3 workouts, not including the daily PT stretching I do.

    I did not, unless you count walking my students up and down 3 flights of steps 4 times a day to go to the bathroom... and I felt like crap doing it. Lol

    If you could get a workout with anyone in the whole world (real life, celebrity, fictional character, alive or dead, I mean anyone) who would it be? 
    I think Jack Lalane. The original juicer guy. He helped ladies at home workout using the things in their homes. Lol what a random person to pick!

  • What are your fitness goals for this week?
    To exercise in some form everyday with moderate to hard cardio at least 4 days.

    Did you get any workouts in this week? What type, and how did you feel?
    Yes and it felt great. Fresh air gives me energy.  I went for a walk every day at least once. Cross county skied twice and did 2 upper body strength workouts.

    If you could get a workout with anyone in the whole world (real life, celebrity, fictional character, alive or dead, I mean anyone) who would it be? Probably my friend from back east who I haven't seen in over 2 years. We use to work out all the time together.
